Michelle - I totally understand the whole "braces" thing. Amaya is in "Phase 1" also. But her phase 1 didn't even involve braces. She started off with a RPE (Rapid Pallet Expander) on the top that I had to tighten every night for a month. Then she moved to different retainer on top and one on the bottom. She has a very crowded mouth so she will probably need some teeth pulled before Phase 2 which will involve braces. It's a very expensive process isn't it?

I'm going to go finish watching Survivor...anyone else watch that?

Terri

Terri---U know my pain. Sydney has a crowded mouth too but they have already pulled 2 teeth on the bottom but didn't want to on the top cause the ones that need pulled are the corner stones of ur mouth and they can cause more problems if pulled, so they are braces one tooth that is up in the gums, the 2 big ones and the one next to that that had no room so it's behind the big one in the roof of the mouth...sheesh! Thats ok, braces show I care..LOL

Well I hope all is well with everyone....we are still fighting colds here...I feel this will go on for another few weeks, gotta love a cold!

OK, I know your guys pain...Ashleys phase 1 involved oral surgery! She had 8, yes I said 8 teeth removed. 4 baby teeth and 4 adult teeth, AND she still had to have an RPE. Then she had braces (full set) for 2 years. When you see my brothers teeth you'll know why. Horse teeth run in our family, ok so I have them too. But I think Tommy's are bigger. Although he will tell you I have the bigger nose!

Well, I can't relate to braces yet, thank goodness, but it sounds like I better start saving up now.

I am a Survivor watcher! I can't believe they voted him off!!! They need to get rid of Coach!

OK, I just thought I would post something that some of you might get a kick out of. Michelle brought it to my attention that we should post cute things our kids say about the cruise...Everynight at dinner Bailey (my 4 year old DD) says the prayer. It's pretty much the same prayer everynight, keep Daddy safe at work, thank you for our food, etc. What you might get a kick out of is that everynight she prays that everyone in our family (and she goes through all the names) will dream about the Disney cruise. Isn't that cute? Just thought I would share.
OK, Michelle, there's my post for the day. You can't say I wasn't participating.:thumbsup2

THat is too cute.. Oh and I guess that I should hope and pray that my DS nephew to Dismom will have my teeth and not her brothers. I only had to have a retainer as a kid. although Jason has already had a cavity so we may be in trouble.

Yes Laura, you should hope and pray that Jason gets your teeth and not our family teeth. You should also pray that he ends up with your nose too! Although as much as he looks like Tommy I would have to say you might be out of luck. :confused3

Hello... We going on that cruise too. My daughter (4 years) my husband and I both (36)...:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Welcome ambria!!! Glad you'll be joining us!

As for the braces thing, I can only pray that my girls have good teeth! :)

Well I go back to work full time tomorrow. :( Not looking forward to it but it's gotta be done.

Will touch base with you all later! Kristi PS: I know I have to get a picture of our FE on here and will try to do that tomorrow night.

Welcome aboard Ambria! We are all getting excited and waiting for october....though some of us(me) are just excited it is supposed to hit 50* here this weekend!! Ambria if you want check out our web page(link in my signature) and also let us know if you would like to join our Fish extender or secret mickey exchanges. If you would like to be apart of our web page please let me know any info you would like to share(ex.---names,dinner seating, cabin #, fe participation, etc.)

Well I hope you all had a great weekend....here extremely COLD!! we are excited for 50 this weekend...yeah no coats! I have been dog sitting since Sat morning so I am exhausted....6 dogs! I love my cats so much more. Well I am off to take the girls to school and then back to let the dogs out. OMG is it tuesday at 11pm yet? Thats when my aunt comes back.. I am just saying airfare airfare...cause she is giving me a few dollars towards it for doing this....Oh boy..if it wasn't for the cruise I would be like no more! TTYL

Welcome aboard Ambria, and family!! I know we must be getting closer because we seem to be getting someone new just about every week now. :cool1: Some of us have been waiting a LOOOOONG time for this cruise, so anything to make it seem closer is helpful. It's almost beginning to feel "make believe" we've been waiting so long. I wonder if it will ever get here.
On that note, we leave one week from today for Disneyland.
My sister and her husband and son, and my parents are there right now. Laura you'll appreciate this...I talked to them yesterday when they arrived at around 9am and then I talked to them after I got home from church around 1pm and they had only gone on one ride :scared1: Not because it was too crowded, because they were just hanging out :scared1: I tell ya, some people just don't know how to "do" Disney.
Kristi-I hope today goes well for you. I know it's hard to go back full time with a baby at home, just think "spending money for the cruise" that's why your doing it right? Not to do boring stuff like, pay bills, or put food on the table.
Well, I'm off to take Riley to school, I'll check back in later. Michelle, did you notice I did one post over the weekend? Well, I did! ;)

Hi all! So far my day back as a full timer has gone well. The boss isn't bombarding me. :) I like the way you think dismom about my going back to work for spending money for the cruise and not for anything else. :) LOL!!!!! Actually, I was told as soon as we get our first paychecks this month we're getting new cell phones (the hubby wants a blackberry so bad and the time has come to upgrade). Then I can put the $$ aside for the cruise (oh and bills and such ;) ).

This weekend I get to go to a girlfriends place to scrapbook!!!! YEAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! This is something I haven't done in awhile. I've got my pictures from our DisneyWorld trip in 2008 and also the pictures from our trip to Vietnam. I'm hoping to find time tonight , tomorrow night and Friday night to organize the pictures a bit so it makes my scrapbooking quicker. :) I have a large goal this Saturday of getting at least the DisneyWorld pages done. Thankfully I'm going to be scrapping from 10am til 5pm. :) Can you tell I'm excited!!!! LOVE IT! :)

Well, this week plans to be busy with work and appointments and such so I'll try to touch base with everyone over my lunch break each day. Take care and have a good one! Kristi

Hi everyone! Just checking in. Nothing new going on with us. I've tried to see what cabin we have but no word yet. We booked a Cat12 gty. So we may not know until much closer. :rolleyes1 Happy Monday everyone!

Ok is it cruise time yet? I really need warm weather.... We got 10 inches of snow overnight and the roads are a mess.... The only good thing was watching my dogs play in the snow this morning. They were way tooo cute... Ok so enough snow and cold weather... time for: warm weather, good friends, and disney boat...plzzzzzzz

EXCITED!! We booked our pre-cruise room at Bay Lake Towers yesterday since our 7 month window opened up to reserve on DVC points!

Is anyone else visiting WDW before the cruise? We are planning to be there from Wednesday, 9/30 til the cruise...with a special trip to the MNSSHP (hopefully) the night before.

:cheer2:

Welcome Ambria and family. This will be the first Disney cruise for our family and I cannot wait, I'm so excited, October can't come fast enough.

I know there are alot of people with girls out there, did anyone take their daughter to see the Jonas Bros Concert 3D movie? I took Amaya and a friend on Friday night and it was crazy...so many screaming girls. Her and her friend were very quiet through the movie compared to all the other girls but that wouldn't surprise you if you knew her...she's very quiet, huh Andrea?

I went to a Cookie Lee jewelry party yesterday and spent waaaayyyy too much money, but what the heck...I needed jewelry to go with my new cruise dresses. That's a good excuse right?

Hope you are all having a good week and we'll see you all in 7 months tomorrow!!!

Terri

I bought dresses too! Purchased two dressy dresses, not too formal, but they should work fine. My sister is getting married in Cancun in June (destination wedding) so I needed a dress for that too. I bought my daughter one of the dresses at Disney Shopping.com (the character themed dresses that come in pink, blue and yellow)..of course she had to have pink princess: ...I'm just glad that I found something I could be comfortable in..

Now I just need to lose some lbs so I feel more comfortable. :wizard: (yeah wizard man is going to help me with that :cutie: )

...just have to get rid of these girl scout cookies....

:cool1: :cheer2: Only 7 months until we sail :cool1: :cheer2:

:welcome: on board Ambria and family

I feel you pain. We were a category 11 GTY for our cruise on the Magic last year. We only booked in May for a September cruise, but the wait was nearly killing me. In the end we found out about 40 days prior to sailing and we loved the cabin so much that we booked it for this cruise. Of course, I have a category 11 GTY for the WB Transatlantic in 2010 as well and I booked this in the first few days of bookings going life (had to originally book a category 10 on the first day as no category 11s were available and then switched a few days later). I am refusing to eaven think about this though until I am back from this cruise.

Congratulations on getting Bay Lake Towers. We will come in two or three days early, but will stay near the airport and will do some shopping at the Florida Mall and might venture to Seaworld. We will then stay nine nights at WDW after the cruise. At the moment we have our home resort Old Key West booked, but I hope that I will be able to change at least some of my stay over to Bay Lake Towers once my 7 month window opens next week.
