Hmmm...wondering where Robin has gone? I think she's lost...or lurking... I see a few lurk and don't post. U guys are no fun! I thought for sure we would be further in this thread... .I have seen some who are on there 2nd or 3rd thread.
Well I guess I am off to pay off my cruise at AAA after I take Sydney to school. That will feel good. Then I am a shoe in.

Hey have u all heard that stupid postmaster wants to take USPS to 5 days....crazy! More people will shift to someone else to ship then. I need to write my rep cause I want Del's job to be around till retirement. They should lower the management incentives. They just sit on their butts and pretend, telling everyone how to do their job and half haven't ever delivered. Yesterday with our storm they expected Del to be back on time...Umm yeah right as he walks thru a foot of snow...no that wouldn't slow him down...dumb*** well sorry just had to vent!

Oh and I watched that DIY Project extreme on the Magic.....real cool. I knew they did alot of work on the ship in dry dock but holy moley....stripping all the paint and the places they go...wow TTYL

I did just hear on the radio about the post office cutting back to 5 days. They said it would probably be a tuesday that we wouldnt get mail because that is the lightest mail day. That would really stink for Del and for the rest of us!!! I love getting mail...even if it is bills

Well, I am one step closer to being ready...I got Ashley a formal yesterday. Two actually. She couldn't decide between which one she wanted. One of them was $22 and one was $18. She needed a dress for a kinsinyera (no idea how to spell that word) this weekend. So we got both and I told her we would take one back, but I might just keep them both for formal and semi formal night. She even got shoes (one pair matches both dresses) for $12. I love ROSS!! With all these purchases it feels like the cruise is getting closer. No I just need to get on the ball and figure out what I'm going to put in the FE's. I don't want to wait until the last minute for that.
Michelle, I hope they don't do that with the post office!! If they do, maybe they'll get enough complaints and bring it back to 6 days. Don't they know Del has a cruise to pay for! Well, since you're paying that off today--he has spending money to come up with! I can't wait to have mine paid off!!!! What a good feeling that will be. I don't think I will really feel like it's going to happen until it's paid off.

I got Amaya two new swimsuits last night at Target but I told her she has to keep one nice for the cruise, maybe only wear it a couple times during the summer. If I would let her she would stay in a swimsuit all day and night.

I also tried on a couple of suits for me... but that was not happening. I am not ready for a swimsuit yet. I'll have to give it at least another month before I get enough nerve to try them on again.

OK, so what hotel is everyone staying at the night before the cruise, and about what time will you be getting there?
We (including my brother and his family) are staying at the residence inn (we got a really good gov't rate on the 1 br suites). If we take the red-eye Thurs night (which I am leaning towards) we will be landing at MCO between 11-12, so we would get to the hotel around 1 in the afternoon (Friday). The flights for us are up in the air though, since we fly stand by it will depend on the loads. Just wondering if people have started making reservations yet?

I am with ya Andrea...I have car and hotel booked. We may come in earlier then Friday...stay with friends a few days and then go to Cape canaveral and stay friday night. Closer to the port the better. Now all I need is airfare. I could have booked it for $630 for all of us but then there is luggage costs...so I am trying to get practice and see how many pieces I can get it down too. Hoping southwest comes out with a good deal whenever they release oct air.

Hi all! I'm here. I do check the board pretty regularly but don't always have something to share. I'll try to be better. As for getting ready for the cruise, I've picked out some items but haven't bought them yet. I am trying to wait a little to see how fast Katelin will grow. So far she's still in 9 mos. clothes but she's definitely growing. My guess is at 15 mos. she'll be in 18 mos. clothes but I don't want to assume yet and get something only to have to return it. So another month and I should be able to figure it all out. As for things I wanna get for Lilli, well, I need her to help pick them out because she's starting to get an opinion. So when I get a chance I'll have her pin down what she "approves of" and doesn't. Obviously the choices will be things Richard and I have already approved but I want her to feel like her opinion does matter.

I'm at work today which is a bummer but I'll have tomorrow off! YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!.

As for the post office, that does stink. I like getting mail 6 days of the week. Even if it's bills. I think it'd be odd to go to 5 days. Not normal. Whatever happened to "normal"? We'll be pulling for Del's job!!!!! Good luck.

I pretty much am ready but I keep finding stuff for the kids....who knows what their wardrobe will be like. I try to have throw over dresses for sea day when they r in the pool lots but who knows...trying to take as little as I can. I always take enough for 2 weeks.. And I do laundry....
Let's see one bag for dayware, garment bag for formal, one for shoes,meds,hair ,toiletries, etc. one carry on for FE's and one for clothes before cruise! Oh boy I can't add anymore...they will have to be carry ons. I think I will carry on 4--so I can put enough clothes for a couple days in case of luggage lose. Never have had that but the girls dance teacher just had her luggage sent to Germany and she was travrling domestic... Ok well off to get Sydney from school and then to dance. Tomorrow Nelia gets Kindergar shots oh no!

We are probably flying in from the UK on September 30th or October 1st the latest and are planning to stay at the Crown Plaza near the airport. We stayed there the night before our first cruise and really enjoyed it. This means that we can spend a day doing some shopping at the Florida Mall as this is really easy to get to from the airport. I don't drive and DH prefers not to. Staying near the airport also means that we can catch the first shuttle to the port and get there about 11:00 or even a bit earlier.

I am still pondering the FE gifts. I have an idea, but I am not sure if I can pull it off. I suppose it depends how many people will be on the cruise.

One of my team members told me today that she is expecting. I am so proud. It is amazing how attached I have become to my team. A year ago I had no intention even applying for a team leader job and now I feel like I have been doing in for ages (in a good way).

It feels weird that I don't need to buy any new clothes for this cruise. We bought so much for the repo we should be good. And I don't landry on vacation so we will have a lot of luggage (we had 4 checked and 4 carry-ons for the repo for the 2 of us)

I rather do laundry then have stinky clothes..LOL and I have kids sometimes they get somethng on themselves and that could be ugly once home. It only is an hour and I have it all washed anyhow...do it will kids do homework one day!

She was so excited to get her 2nd American girl"Nellie" She has Julie( who cruised with us in Feb) so I think October will be Nellie's first cruise..LOL My girls just found out the other day that they are going again so they are exstactic! I couldn't keep it a secret for 8 months..I was dieing. Making plans already. With the cruise paid I just feel relieved! TTYL

This will be the first cruise we get to drive to. We flew from CA for the Repo - our checked luggage weighed 178 pounds! Luckily it was before Frontier started charging for luggage and we didn't have to worry about the return trip since we ended in CA.

I was going to fly to NC for a scrapbook retreat in June but with all the luggage charges it looks like Darrell is going to drive me half-way and my sister will meet us as there is no way I can fit all my scrapbook stuff in only one suitcase. So I feel for eveyone that has to fly.

We are driving down from NJ so we are going to leave on thursday night and get down to disneyworld friday morning. I'm going to try and book bay lake towers for friday night using my DVC points, I cant book that till March 15th. If thats not available then Im going to stay at another DVC resort for the night (not sure which one maybe AKV) and then go into Epcot on friday and have dinner at Biergarten or Le Celier and go back and rest in the room, get up early on Saturday and make our way to port. I want to try and get to the port by 10-1030 am. Im so excited I cant stand it and we still have 8 more moths to go...AHHHHH!!!

Ok so I have been working the last 2 hours on my girls FE. I hope they are ok cause NONE of you guys PM'ed me back with the info requested. So just a couple girls left and then the boys FE's. They are coming along nicer then I thought so I could be done with the kids in the next few weeks. YES!!! Then finish the adult ones in Sept. cause I can't find product now.
