What if people have early dinner?? Having it at 6-630 wont work.

I say we leave it how it is, and people decide on here to do which ever one they want or do both. No need to complicate this more then it needs to be.

I agree leave as is. i think most of the group has early seating!

Morning everyone!!! Thanks for the Link Steph, made my Lil' Man's eyes open that much quicker when I told him this am that I was looking at the Disney Ship!

How is everyone this AM???

I need to get a list of things to do wrote up! I did purchase 2 water proof camera's yesterday, for our Sting Ray Adventure and our Dolphin Encounter!!!

We did the dolphin swim in Nassau with dolphin encounters, and they wouldn't let us use our underwater cameras. Said the click of the camera bothers the dolphins. They do take some really nice pics to buy(of course!)
Now I'm back to the store to buy MORE candy as the kids found out where I hid the candy and ATE it ALL!!! I would wait til we get to Cocoa Beach and just buy it at Walmart, but being so close to Halloween, I don't know what will be left.

Tink, I wasnt going to use the camera in the water....More for the kid's to take out of water, wanted them being we would be near water, knowing my 6 year old We plan on buying the pictures from the Dolphin Encounter people.

Nothing here yet... I think the UPS man is hiding out on me!! He is always here on the block the same time every day.. and he hasnt been around the last 2

Think im going to start camping out and pray on him... Need to think of something to entice him out of hiding!!!

I'm getting ready to bring up the suitcases, but my three year old keeps thinking we are leaving "when Dad gets home from work". It's really getting old and driving me crazy! So I guess I'd better hide the suitcases as I pack! Is anyone else dressing up for pirates night? I bought all the kids and DH and myself costumes, my DH tried his on and I swear they sent the wrong size pants! They are falling off (br sure to bring safety pins) He wants to knowif any of the other guys are dressing up too? He said he doesn't want to look like a dork alone So, please tell me some of the other guys are dressing up too. As for candy goes, I'm bringing all different kinds, as I don't think to many kids are too picky over candy! Any allergies??

My dh and grandson are dressing up. My DH is wearing a pirate white shirt and black pants and a sash around his waist. I think others will dress up too.

It has been mentioned that some children may not want to TOT it after the Official Halloween because the dont want to have to dress 2 times....anyone have suggestions?

well I think the party starts when late dinner is going on. So it seems there really isn't a good time to TOT for anyone, lol. But your right it is becoming complicated. Leave it as is.

ok...so i'm reading thru the posts, and i have to bring this up...it seems like we aren't gonna get a good turn out with all the differing times, and opinions. If it's not a good turn out, it won't be fun for the kids! i think we need to rethink our plans for trick or treat. My opinion on the matter(as if you all care!! ) is that we should forgo the TOT...and maybe just do up some goody bags for the dis kids at one of our meets, or maybe just meet up quick someplace before the DCL TOT (this way the kids are in costume, and they still get goodies from the dissers.) The majority here have voted on not TOT'ing the nite that dcl is doing thiers, and i'm not sure i want to go thru the hassle of dressing 3 young kids up on a diff nite, just to go door to door for about 15 mins (not worth the time/effort!)...i think the kids would be miserable!! and i know that would in turn make mom and dad miserable! However, if we were to all meet at some point during the DCL TOT, we could all be happy!!
i'm not sure...i'm prob rambling, cuz it's getting super late...or early...however you want to look at it!! But i'd be interested in hearing opinions on my suggestions?!?!

Anyone up for just doing a meet and handing out candy at that time??
we could either do it at the pool,...but there would be no costumes,
or we could set up a time after we hear definite plans from DCL...and try to meet and hand out candy at a designated meeting spot on TOT nite...that way there would be costumes...but no time lost in going door to door.
any other suggestions?

Shannon. Sounds good to me. LIke i have said before. The TOT time and day is no thing for me! My nieces are doing it so i will be with them with my sister! I am leaving the TOT up to you guys with kids. I like the idea of the handing out treats before,during or after the DCL TOT. They said in a email i received today that they are unsure when they are doing thiers. i guess we will have to wait on our docs to tell that. whoever gets there docs first needs to look and post to let us know if anything is in there about the DCL TOT!!!

My DH will be happy someone will dress up too For the TOT, I guess we can wait and see what Disney has planned and then go from there, wheather we go along with theirs, or do a meet to hand out the candy. It will all work out.

Someone mentioned getting their docs via UPS? Having never been on a cruise before, I'm wondering if those docs will be forwarded to my new address?? I just moved, and most of my mail is being forwarded automatically, but will those docs make it to me? Thanks for any info....wake

Id let whomever you booked through know of your address change! I dont think UPS/DSL and those carriers use a forwarding system, that is only for the USPS. Id get your TA or Disney your new address.
