We are having a heck of a time getting just the right dates due to planning around school report cards (don't want to miss the week before they come out as that's when a lot of the assignments seem to be turned in) we are now tentatively looking at oct 29 - nov 5. I noticed that the hotels are higher in price for the oct dates and then the price goes down nov 1, is this because the parks are so popular for the days around halloween? I have a 14yr old so not sure if the halloween party woulf be too young for her and I don't really want to go at a very busy time. Is there a chart somewhere that shows addmission #'s for the year?

Not a native SC speaking, but a researcher for sure. I can answer a bit about the lines. Halloween is supposed to be incredibly busy. After Halloween it should mellow out for you somewhat. The days leading up to it might be busy too though. Anyway, that's why the higher prices. If you go on Halloween just get there super early and then be prepared to mostly soak in the magic and not ride as many rides that day. You're least crowded times are going to be Nov. 2-5 I'm thinking. Anyway, I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be able to help more! :)
