Sorry about that! - busy Saturday, taking Ellis to karate and then out for a meal, and busy again today... just back from a successful shopping trip in town.

So, whats everyone doing for excursions?

Nassau for us will be a trip to the straw market then a nearby beach for an hour or two

Castaway cay - might hire bikes as we havent done that in the past and definately hitting the adault beach as we've been twice before and never got there yet!

I really do understand being busy. That's why you don't see a lot of posts from me lately. We have some people that don't get around very well coming with us so in Nassau we are for the most part just going to stay on the ship. I might get off and go and get some of those rum cakes. At castaway Cay I am doing the parasailimg with my oldest daughter and doing the sting ray adventure with my youngest after that. I am sure we will get a couple of bikes to.

How about everyone post a piccie of themselves on here so we can spot each other round the ship etc?

I'll dig one out and post one of us later to start the ball rolling:thumbsup2

Ahhhh, those rum cakes:cloud9:... They certainly are delicious! - we'll be stocking up on those too:thumbsup2

I think we are thinking of doing one of the dolphin encounters the cheaper one. Our kids haven't been to atlantis so maybe we'll take this time:scared1: On Castaway Cay we hope to put the kids in the kids area and them stay there. Every time we go there are youngest never last in there. We would like to go to the Adult Beach thou.:thumbsup2

For those Disney nuts wishing a very detailed report - my friend Cass has just been on the Dream and done an amazing trippie

We are defanetly going tandem. My oldest wont go by herself. I did the parasailimg at the magic kingdom on our honeymoon 3 years ago. It was awesome. I can't wait to do it with my daughter.

Hi everyone,

I just booked our first Disney cruise and first cruise ever. We just bought DVC and decided to splurge and add the 3 night cruise to the end of our WDW trip.

So we'll be at WDW from October 15th to the 20th, then setting sail with you guys. We'll be myself (28) and DH (27). We'll have a 7 month old at the time, which I was debating on bringing, but grandma is really insistant that she wants her all to herself for a week (we'll see as the time approaches, but right now looks like it'll be just us for an anniversary trip).

We'll be in room 5536, is this room okay, I didn't do any real research on the rooms and their locations. I've also added the ground transportation back to the airport on the 23rd. Does anyone know what time we would get to the airport?? I've started looking at flights, but have no idea what is the earliest departure I could book and still have enough time to get there and pass security.

Welcome:goodvibes You're going to love cruising! It may be your first.... but I doubt if it will be your last

Here's my take on that room. (Bear in mind I booked a room near to that one for my 4 night Dream cruise) It's the least expensive verandah on the ship AND those rooms have some of the biggest verandah's on the ship. Problem is, that when you step outside the overhang all above will be able to see you. No biggie unless you are somewhat unclothed. The room itself is directly over the balcony of the Walt Disney Theater. If there are any late night movies you may hear some Bass. I picked one closer to the Elevators which is directly over the bathroom for the WDT. The main entrance to the Vibe is on Deck 4 but there are also some entries on Deck 5 forward. This may lead to increased teenage traffic. I decided to take a gamble on this room because of it's large verandah but I guess I'll find out soon enough as to whether it is worth it or not.

Welcome aboard:woohoo: I agree it wont be your last:thumbsup2 I would try to get to the ship early around noon or so, so you can start enjoying yourself and take a tour while others are boarding. If you have a movie camera make sure you have it on while boarding the ship they will announce your name and clap which is pretty cool :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: As for return maybe someone else know's better we have never use that option before good luck and let your countdown begin :yay:
