Oct 2-9? week going into Columbus Day

what do you think of this?
I was going to change our Oct 8-16 dates to the 16th-23rd but MIL says thats too late.
8-16 covers all 3 days of Columbus Day wknd.
the 2-9 would only be that Sat which is the day we'd be leaving
better?
And still be able to make MNSSHP? (we enjoyed MVMCP)

That is the week that we went last year. The first day in the parks(epcot) was very low crowds. The rest of the week was very different. Not terrible but more than we expected. The MNSSHP was fantastic. Do whatever is necessary for planning this fabulous night.
