Just a quick note since I still have so much to do. Jeanne, I can relate. My washer and dryer hae running nonstop for two days. I think the laundry is about done. I have Turner packed and Paul si 90% packed. I am about 10% packed! At least I have a lot of it down in a list. I will probably get mine packed tomorrow evening.

I still need shoes for my gown but I will look on Friday in Florida if my niece doesn't have anything that will work.

I have the form filled out for the mail to be held and the fridge is cleaned out (except for what we need for 2 days).

I'll find time to post again tomorrow evening but not sure about Tuesday. Then we're gone!!

Can't wait to see you guys. Wish it was everyone .

Back on the boards!!

Hello everyone. Things have been really crazy here. Lots of medical issues with my sister and my mom was back in the emergency room with chest pains. Thank god her heart checked out ok, but she has severe ulcers. I have been spending lots of time and energy dealing with all of that. Also, my boss quit and our department was just downsized. My new boss starts tomorrow and it will be just the 2 of us managing the work flow. Say a prayer for me, I hope that it is a good fit. I have been there for 9 years, and this will be my 4th boss. I truly hope that things work out and she doesn't end up replacing me!! You never know.......some people just want to come in and clean house. I really like where I work and wouldn't look forward to a change. Besides the job market is horrible here.

Who is staying behind while many of you head off to WDW??? I am SO JEALOUS!!!!! I would love to crawl into one of your suitcases!!!! I promise to be more visible on the boards and will keep it going with whoever is left behind!!

I have missed you all and am glad that you are all still here!!

Whoo it's been a busy weekend. I've tried twice to get back on here and read up on all of your posts. OK, here goes again!
Barb, I know I told you "Happy Birthday" at the restaurant, but never got it in on Saturday. I was so busy talking about myself, then had to run back to work!!!! So, "Happy Belated Birthday" from me too.
Denine, I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. That's rough.
Jeanne and Bobby. That has a nice ring to it.
Sandy, what a shocker for Heidi! Yikes.
Someone send Laurie some Calgone! Work and family at the same time. Good thing you are so tough. (Well, for a boa wearing diva, anyway )

I did want to tell you that Ben and I had a wonderful evening at the Gala. I wish I had worn my blue beaded gown from the cruise, it was THAT flashily formal. I thought it had been an overkill on the cruise (especially in Animators' ) but with a dark blue silk shawl thrown on, it would have been just right! I'll have to get a shawl for it and I'll be ready for next time. Yeah RIGHT, when a 'next time' comes along, shawls will be out of style. Oh, I'll never be a fashion queen.

Laurie...I hope mom feels better and your sister also. Glad to see you back. I hope work changes go ok...change is never an easy thing.

Lori...I agree you whould have worn your cruise gown! I think it was beautiful and of course you can carry it off. It definately was not over kill on the cruise.

Jeanne has a boyfirend...Jeanne has a boyfriend! I couldn't help myself...just a little tease! LOL!

Sue...Have fun!!!!! Can't wait to see you in 2 weeks!!! Don't forget the door alarm...no sleepwalking for Turner!

3 days of work this week then 1 next!!!! I am starting to get excited!!! Of course nothing fits so what to do for pants!!!!

I am here. We have a tough decison to make about Shannon this week. She is only eating some here and there. The extra fluids are making her pee like crazy, but she just isn't perking up the way we would like. I am still waiting for the vet to call me so I can talk to her about what to do. The fact that we are leaving on Saturday for WDW makes this even tougher.

It is nasty out right now; snowing and blowing. Yuck!!!!

Got some packing done yesterday.

We may have no place to go for Thanksgiving. We are still going to my mom's in the morning after work, but Jerry's mom was having dinner, but she may have to cancel because of bronchitis.

Sue: I hope y ou have a safe trip to WDW. Enjoy the cruise! We will see you on the 6th.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a lovely time.

Laurie: I hope everything calms down for you soon.

Had a busy weekend but really didn't accomplish much!

We still have not been able to go out for my Birthday. Bob spent both Saturday and Sunday in Denver. Didn't even get to go to a movie this weekend!

Got my table set for Thanksgiving. Just need to shampoo the carpet again.

Laurie, I am so happy to hear from you. You are certainly missed here. Sorry to hear about your mother. I think of you often. It was nice talking to you on the phone a couple of weeks ago. Laurie, you asked who will be left next week and it will be Barb, Sally, Lori, Krista, and Darren and Diana, if they show up on the board. Leaving will be Susan, the Dudettes, Julie, Denine and Sandy. I wish you were coming because Jeanne, Joyce and I are meeting Faith, a girl who has the Walt Disney Suite on the cruise that we are taking next year with you. I will tell her all about you! She seems to be a very nice person.

Barb, hang in there. I know that Bob will make up your birthday!

Bonnie, you beat me! I was thinking about Jeanne has a boyfriend etc. myself. Oh how we need all the juicy details and a picture!

Sue, take a deep breath. It will get done! Sounds like you are 98% there. I am jealous of your cruise. Have a wonderful time. I know that we all will be thinking of you and will see you when you get off the ship.

Lori, anytime you wear that gorgeous dress you are a fashion queen. Just remember to wear it with the tiara I bought you.

Do you want Bobby's yearbook picture from 35 years ago? I don't have any pictures of him & probably won't see him until Christmas now. I missed a dinner yesterday with him where he cooked "gravy" for his friends & now I went home early from work today because it is so slow & someone volunteered to work for me tomorrow. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

Poor Denine... Anyone who has had a pet knows what you are going through - hugs & kisses along with prayers sent your way.

Hi Barb, I am probably late but the roads are just fine. Have fun at the cheerleading competition. I do know what Mustangs are llike on the snow. Mine was totally horrible in the snow. I used to put weights in mine.

Good day at work finally!!!! I just wish I could get the act together for my nurses! Still don't have the stats from one of them from last month and she is on vacation this week!!
We had a little Thanksgiving feast at work today...everyone brought something so I didn't have to worry about lunch. I brought my beer bread and was asked for the recipe! I laughed. Just buy the mix add a bottle of beer and bake!! I love it!

Denine....about Shannon...there are times when it is best to let go. I think this may be one of those times. Just think of the rainbow bridge. And if you do decide then wouldn't it be better to say goodbye and be with her than to worry all the while in WDW? I know that you will decide whatever is best for you and Shannon.

I am finally packed. Half day of work, take Stanley to the kennel, take Turner to the dentist, back to the house to load the car and tie up any loose ends that I remember in a panic at work today, then off we go! Nine hour drive ahead of us but so worth the trip.

We'll be at Paul's sister's house until we set sail on Saturday.

I'll miss you guys but will get to see some of you soon. Keep our thread alive on the board!!

I guess you all know the dog is home so I am up & out at 5 AM. It is really cold this morning!

BONNIE: Beer bread is something I should make not you! Don't they have a "Cosmo" bread?

I DID take pictures at the Reunion but most of them are group shots from far away. Maybe I'll bring a few so you can get a peek at him. I know when you say he has a "great personality' it usually means he/she is homely but he has the kind of personality that lights up a room & he is cute too!

Went to Fort Collins yesterday for the Cheer competition. Bob stayed home since he spent both Saturday and Sunday in Denver. Andrew went with me, it took us 3 HOURS to get there!
Then of course we got lost at the college. Finally found it and got in 3 groups ahead of Tiffany's. I was so happy to have made it. I was so afraid I was going to miss her. The trip back only took 2 hours. Darn Denver traffic!! I was the only parent that went. We didn't get home until 12:30 sure was hard to drag out of bed this morning at 5:30. I am wondering if I need to get my head examined!

When I got home last night there was a beautiful flower arrangement there!! I feel loved!! This one was from my Mom and Dad.

THANKS MOM!!! I love the flowers, it was sosososososo sweet of you. I really appreciate them.

BONNIE: Over 500 in our graduating class & since it was a Catholic High School the boys were on one side of the school & the girls were on the other. I knew who he was but we were not in the same crowd. Joyce & I will be home by December 6th. It is Dodger's 2nd birthday & little John's 3rd. No Hollywood stardom for us!

Go the Cruisers have left . I hope Turner has outgrown his sleepwalking.

Dodger is driving me crazy. He was walked at 5 AM, to the park at 8:45 AM & now he keeps going in & out. I think he just loves this cold.

Barb, I need my sleep. I don't think that I could function today if I were you! Hey, you should be used to traffic. The Springs is horrible any time of the day. I25 or side streets! That town sure has grown!

I believe we have made our decision about Shannon. I need to talk to the vet again today. Shannon just isn't happy. We made a fire in the fireplace last night which she normally LOVES, but last night she sat for a few minutes and then came back into the office to be by herself. She is eating some, but not enough. She gets 3 medications in the morning and 3 at night plus the injection of fluids. I don't want to lose her, but I don't want her to suffer. She has Ty waiting for her at Rainbow Bridge. We lost him 3 years ago to FIP. We only had him for 3 months. He thought it was his job to take care of Shannon, since he was twice her size.

Looks like we may still be having Thanksgiving dinner.

Sorry to be such a downer.

I have to bake tomorrow. We still have more packing to do.
