Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Sally, if I made pumpkin pies, my family would wonder where I found all that energy and time. They'd fall over in shock with little grins in the corner of their mouths. (Hummm, tempting...)

do it as your good deed for the day....they are really good and don't forget the whipped cream....fall is here...time for pot roast, pies, chili, bean soup, corn bread....I am getting hungry.

I have a Country Chicken dish leftover from yesterday so will probably use it up today. It is so good....I layer dried beef in the bottom of a crock pot and put chicken strips that has been rolled in a a strip of bacon and cover with chicken soup and cook about 5 hours....my daughter in law made it when we were in Fla. I don't know if there is anything that goes in also but it is good just the way I did it. Then I make smashed potatoes....another easy thing....I scrub potatoes and cut into pieces, cook and mash with a potato masher....the soup makes a gravy to put over them. I like the fact I don't have to peel potatoes. I bet a lot of you do this but I never had...always peeled them first.

Yummy, Sally. I am so hungry and then you go and type that recipe. I printed it. Where is dried beef found in a grocery store? I see recipes all the time but never know where to find it. How much and what kind of chicken soup? Chicken broth, chicken noodle, cream of chicken???? Help, that will be Tues. dinner.

Welcome, welcome home Lori. You were missed. I can't believe that everyone succeeded at surfing. It sounds so hard! I have the 17yh and 19th open. I think that it is a lunch with the girls if I am not mistaken.

I am freezing. Guess I better quit being so cheap and turn on the furnace. I guess fall/winter temps have hit us. No more mid 80's.

It was good to get on and read 2 pages. Everyone is staying busy and out of trouble.

It is a busy weekend. The truck will be here in about 3 weeks. Sure doesn't take long to build one! Heidi had a second opinion and will need a leep procedure done on Nov. 12th. Thanks for asking Denine.

It comes in a glass jar and is found with canned meat like Spam
2 cans of soup.....I guess you could use mushroom, celery or chicken...and it is creamed. I bought fresh chicken strips and wrap each strip with a strip of bacon.

I was watching the game....so far pretty ugly.....I am going to go clean the bathroom....was reading an article on fall cleaning and it got me in the mood. I haven't cleaned the tank of the toilet in several months...

How is your mouse problem Sandy....we got 3 in the house and 2 in the garage.....hopefully that is the end....

Did you hear what the surprise was for this weeks survivor? They are bringing the voted off members back...don't know how many

Thanks Sally. I just bought the dried beef and chicken strips. Tues dinner is now planned thanks to you!! I need an easy one because I have Noah and Graci until 6:00 and I don't like to plan a big dinner. Usually leftovers or crockpot meals for that day.

I didn't know about Survivor. That is really interesting. I wonder what they have up their sleeves. Should be really interesting.

The mouse problem seems to be solved. No more in the garage and haven't seen anything in the house. What scares me is that we never caught the one I saw in the house. Did he leave or does he know how to avoid 3 traps????????? We did put out Dcon just in case he is still inside.

SANDY: My son Derek had a mouse problem but when he got a kitten it put an end to the problem!

JULIE: Got all the info about the exchange along with the addresses. What would we do without you?

Another day another dollar.
I need those dollars for WDW and trying to get tickets to see Peter, Paul and Mary. Pam said she would go with me but we won't be able to sit together...that's ok...I will just sing along with strangers. I fancy myself another Mary...especially since I have gone from a soprano to an alto in my old age.

Ok Jeanne...when are you going Shopping in Rehoboth? Need to hit the outlet down there! LOL!

Sandy - no more mice? SO much for footmen for your coach (truck)! Poor Gus Gus!

Not much going on here. The weekend was not good. It was cold and rainy and Kaleigh was an absolute BEAR! Between the cold, teething and deciding to be extremely clingy to daddy...

Hopefully today will be better. It is not raining right now, but it is cold. I have to get my mammogram done this afternoon. Not looking forward to that!

Darren is alive and well! I saw a post from him on the cruise board yesterday.

Good morning

It is cold out this morning but the sun is shinning......I started working on my fall pages last night. I decorated the house, crissy carved a pumpkin, she raked leaves and we dressed the dogs in a pumpkin costume....now is that a serious scrapbooker or what!
I love fall....

I am going to Curves in about l0 minutes and then come home and clean. I started in my closet this morning rearranging my clothes....I know it sounds crazy but I put my clothes together by color...it makes it easy when you looking for something to wear.

Now that you are home we should set a date to get together for lunch!

Sandy&Lori- Do either of you go to the Larimer Square Christmas thing?? Bob is going to be in Denver on my birthday and it is the same day as that. I was thinking of going with him and spending the day at Larimer then going to dinner. Sounds pretty fun from what I have read!

Went to Boo at the Zoo last night. It was pretty cute watching all the kids in their costumes. Next is the Electric Safari at the Zoo. Can't wait to do that one!

Bought tickets for the Nutcracker. I love doing fun Holiday things!!

Ted makes me mad about our poor mice. He refers to them as MICKEY. Makes me feel like a murderer. Men!

Barb, I did the Larimer Square thing YEARS ago. Don't remember anything about it. We do like to go downtown every year to the 16th St Mall. It is so beautiful at Christmas. We like to eat at the Cheesecake Factory down there. I have always wanted to go to the zoo for Christmas. Can't remembe the name of the event but it is all lit up with Christmas decos.

Bonnie, I can really belt out some songs too. Just like to do it from the privacy of my own room or car. I love Paul Stukey (SP) of Peter, Paul and Mary. He wrote my most favorite song of a lifetime that you can't buy. "The Wedding Song". Captain and Tenille recorded it though but it isn't the same. I am all about originals.

I have to stay off the Board. I keep going on Theme Park Attractions and Strategies and I just keep getting more excited for the trip. They have one thread going about Secrets of WDW. Talks about hidden mickeys, talking trash cans, rings at the Haunted Mansion and a zilliion more things. It is sooooooo iteresting. Somethings I knew about and others I haven't. It is something like 37 pages long. I wish I could print it but for each page it prints about 5 or 6 pages off the computer. If anyone is interested I will send the thread to you.

Snow is to begin this Wed evening and continue through the weekend. Poor trick or treaters! I don't think we will get lots but at least it is moisture.
