I'm up to my neck in DCL stuff at the moment.

Kaleigh goes for her 1 year pictures tonight.
Shannon goes back to the vet tomorrow. Her kidney function tests were off and now they want to do a urinalaysis.
Thursday is Kaleigh's birthday and we are going out to eat.
Friday I start cooking for Kaleigh's party.
Saturday is more cooking
Sunday is the Party!
Monday is Kaleigh's 1 year check up and my dr appointment.

I am getting as bad as the rest of you in my schedule!

It didn't rain as much as they were callin for, but it did rain alllll day. Sunny but cold today (64).

Tomorrow is weigh-in day.

Darren, don't feel overwhelmed on the email. Get your stuff done and then write us. Yes we are all anxiously awaiting it but we all can understand that you just got home.

Jeanne, did you grow up around where you live now? I have never been back to my high school reunion. It was in Sioux Falls SD and have just never traveled back. It was a very large class and I never really hung around most of them. I had several friends from all the high schools so never got attached to most of my classmates. The one I loved to death, I can't find. I have been thinking about trying to locate her through some sort of a service. I tried online but didn't get anywhere. The high school reunion group can't find her either.

I know more of you posted but I have to go. It is time for Graci. Love to all.

Good Morning!

Well Jaymee is now living in Texas. We got back on Sunday night.
It was a long emotional trip. Jaymee is excited about her new adventure. I took yesterday off too. I spent the day making phone calls I needed to catch up on and cleaning the house. I cleaned Jaymee's room really good. That was a chore!

Julie- Count me in for the gift exchange.

Sandy- I think you should shoot for Disney World over New Years!!

I have spent the morning going through emails at work. I think I am caught up now!

We spent a few days while on route to Texas with Patty. Dylan is really a cutie. He smiles all the time. He is suppose to go for the MRI in October. Thanks for all the prayers. I told Patty her Disney family was thinking and praying for them. It meant a lot to her. She said to tell you all thanks.

Lori, who else would you pick on if you didn't have me?? Oh yea, poor Darren who just got off the ship working 85 hour weeks. Drugs, nah, just Nyquil for that end of the evening buzz. I need a wine party instead! I, too, noticed that we were over 100 pages and was praying. I am the one that posted 1st on the 100th page and held my breath that it wouldn't make me create a new thread.

Barb, no, Darren hasn't sent the email yet. I don't want you to think that you missed out. He did say if he doesn't have anyones email let him know.

Julie, don't feel bad about Makenzie's black eye. Graci came today with a black eye and just now she came runnng in and slammed into the computer chair with her other eye. Hope it isn't going to be black eye # 2. She sure is rubbing it so I better go put some ice on it. We use "booboo buddies" instead.

Just goofing off...had a hell of a day at work and the next 2 weeks will be awful!! We have a new system coming up and I am one of the testers...in addition to doing my supervising!! No body else in my unit has been trained on the system yet so I am the guinea pig.

Darren...excuses excuses!!! Only if you are going back on the cruise as a guest services rep do you have an excuse!! This is your American mom speaking...don't you wish you gave Sandy that privilege? She is much nicer!

Doesn't anyone else want to extol the virtues of Garry? I don't know why I even bother...he is never here.

That's starting to sound ike the Bonnie we know! Enough of that mushy stuff, yuk!

Turner has hockey practice this evening and I didn't go. Just doesn't make sense for me to drive all the way to the rink and maybe see 1/2 of the practice just to drive back home. The rink is in Pineville (south of Charlotte) and we live on the north end! I work in the middle! I won't miss the games though.

Denine - I hope Shannon is OK. Keep us posted.

Hi All! Just checking in to say hi! Nothing exciting going on around here today, for a change! Tomorrow is pre school for Makenzie so we will be busy with that in the morning and then maybe we will go to the apple farm to get cider and jsut look at the pumpkins (I think it is still to eary to buy them for Halloween).

Good Morning Everyone!!

Thank You Julie for remembering Jason's birthday. You are
sososo sweet to keep remembering all of us and dates that are important to us. We have the best group of Disney lovers ever!!

Our intern Leah, has been in our home since Labor Day. She seems to be working out great. She is a really sweet girl. Her parents have moved to Colorado Springs from Indiana.

Bonnie-Does seem lately it has been either me or Mom on the board. Not intentional. I was struggling a lot this past month to get Jaymee all ready and dealing with the leaving of another one of my kids. Things never are the same. I told Bob I think I am living in denial. I keep thinking she is away at camp and she will be home soon and things will go back the way they were. I have been a Mom for the past 23 years. Time to start a new chapter in my life. Tiffany doesn't seem to mind being an only child. I thought she would be lonely, but not so far. Last night she was happily laying on her bed doing her homework yacking on the phone to the boy she likes. The mighty circle of life......

Susan-I was glad to see you posting. I heard NC and VA got yet another bad storm and many are without power. I am relieved to hear you are safe.

Either one of those dates for the gift exchange should work for me. I am so glad we have Julie to cordinate.

I give up! Now it looks like Jerry's brother is not coming to the party. His wife is pregnant and is "really sick" this time. As it was, he said he was going to be the only one coming. The avoidance continues. So now we are down to grandparents and godparents, no aunts or uncles. I am glad she is important to them. I wish you all lived closer. I know you guys would come.

We are going to Mapleside for dinner. They have an apple farm and have a lot of apple inspired recipes on the menu. My dad grew up with the owners. Kaleigh doesn't have a favorite restaurant. We hardly go anywhere.

Kaleigh had her pictures taken last night. She actually had fun. They came out really cute! Of course, they won't be ready until the day we leave on vacation.

I'll let you know about Shannon.

Barb: Glad to have you back. Jaymee will be fine in Texas.

Cold and cloudy again today. It is going to be cold and raining for Kaleigh's birthday party, but I could have told you that a long time ago. We are cooking out and don't have a covered grill.

I received my latest pin in the mail. It is so cute. It is Mickey & Minnie on the deck of the Magic and the inside of the pin turns so it is like the ship is going up and down.

Hi guys! Nothing new here. Spent all day looking for a "special" brithday gift for the lady I babysit for. We share the same birthday and if you remember, she gave me my present early. It was the professional teeth whitening package that costs bookoo bucks. Does anyone have any neat idea for a gift for her? I have no idea. She loves candles. Last year I sent her a bouquet of flowers to her office for her. She is extremely hard to buy for because she is a total yuppie. That is not a slam. I am just not a yuppie so our tastes are different. I looked at all kind of crystal gifts like glasses, bar sets, candle holders, serving pieces and vases. I don't know her favorite perfume. HELP !!!!

I half expected a come back but none...so much for extolling his virtues all these WEEKS!!!

Sandy-Yuppies are very hard to buy for. Go for name brand. From an outlet of course LOL! Coach has some very nice picture frames. Not too expensive. Take a cute picture of the kid and put it in the frame. My friends who broke up are yuppies. LL Bean, Smith and Hawkins for gardening stuff. It's all in the name! LOL!

Denine...don't worry about the birthday...Kaleigh will not remember who was at her party and it is her day. Besides you will the Lauters!!!! You don't need anyone else! WIsh I could be there but alas...

I woke up in the middle of the night with a head cold. Not feeling like doing much and I came home from work an hour early today. I plan to take some meds and hit the bed early.

Thought I would catch a "quick peek" on the boards.

JULIE: I am in for the Christmas gift exchange. I loved it last year & loved shopping but I need the addresses, etc.

SANDY: I had a graduating class of 550! I went to a Catholic High School & my classmates were from all over South Jersey. It was in the time when boys were on one side of the High School and girls on the other side of the High School. I have went to a few of the reunions - 10, 20 & 25 but thought this one down the shore could really be fun.

DARREN: Still waiting.........
