I started a new thread since we reached the max on the last one. Glad I checked in one more time this morning. Post so we all know we have found each other AGAIN!

Hi Everyone!! Checking In!!

Thanks for the private message Sue!! :Pinkbounc

Things have been very hectic here. I have been sorting through all of this insurance stuff for my mom. Also, since my dad died everything has been breaking at my parents house. This is very uncharacteristic, as my dad kept everything perfect order. This weeks casualty list included the vacuum cleaner, dryer, snow blower, and my sister's VCR. Everything has now either been fixed or replaced. It has been an expensive week!!

Kristen has been down with the virus that has been going around. So far the strep test is negative, and I hope that it stays that way!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning

We are having a nice snow...blizzard according to the weatherman but not right here in my location. It is really strange, the farther north you go to Denver the heavier it is and even going south of us it is heavier than it is right here, but we must have about 6 or 7 inches. It is blowing so the drifts are bigger. It is cold though. I worked in the yard Sunday and Tuesday it was covered with snow, the really good wet kind.

I got my root canal finished yesterday...glad that is over!

Now that I am inside for awhile I will try to get my spring cleaning done...two more days till spring.

I guess today is the day we go to war.....I pray it is a short one and the loss of lives is low. Any loss is too much but it isn't realistic to think there won't be any. I also pray for President Bush....he has a tough job but I am with him all the way. You just have the feeling God put him in the White House for a reason...

Have a good day and keep warm...those of you that are having the nice weather enjoy it!

Here I am. Thanks for the PM Sue.

I weighed in this morning and lost 3 more pounds. I have a long way to go before I notice anything in the way my clothes fit, but at least it is a start!

Yeah for you Colorado people! Just keep the snow on your half of the country. We have rain in the forecast the rest of the week.

Sally: Glad to hear your root canal is finished. I hope your are feeling much better!

Laurie: Maybe your dad is letting you know he is around by breaking all that stuff. How is your FIL?

Bonnie: I also hate shopping for cars and used cars are the worst to shop for. Good luck. Jerry has to change the breaks on the Regal, they are really pulsing.

When I booked my cruise on Sunday, my TA had heard from many people that the war would start on Thursday. She even had a time of 6:30 AM. I don't know about the time, but the day is looking more and more of a reality. We will be watching the news closely as it reaches 8PM est.
I saw that the FAA put a no fly zone over Disneyland and Disney World.

Had the social worker visit yesterday. It went fine. I hope we only have the one visit next month and then we can finalize. I have to send her a physical form for Kaleigh next week. Kaleigh has her 6 month shots on Tuesday.

Take care!

Good morning, I'm coming out of the lurkers corner long enough to check in.....thanks for the message Susan! Actually, I've been feeling guilty since the other day when someone said "hello to all the lurkers!" I'd been caught......

We have been having beautiful spring weather and I have a BAD case of Spring Fever......but, everytime you guys up in Colorado get really cold it seems to move on down here and there's a pretty chilly wind blowing.....

Here I am. Thanks so much Sue! Really appreciate all that you went through to get us another thread.

Wow, this is a snowstorm and a half. Tons and tons of moisture. SEVERAL FEET of snow. Unreal. AND it is still coming down. Roofs are collapsing, some without power, trees falling. Ted made it down last night from the mountain. Turning our corner on our street he became high centered so he is stuck there. At least he made it all the way home. I bet the city will be closed down tomorrow again. The side streets are impassable even with 4 wheel drives. I can't believe Sally only has 6 or 7 inches.

My gosh, Patty is alive and well. Good to hear from the lurker.

Sorry guys, with all the excitement and WORK around here I forgot to weigh in. CONGRATULATIONS DENINE. YOU ARE THE BEST! You put me to shame.

Laurie, good to hear from you again. Sorry things are still hectic for you. It will slow down, I promise. Sorry Kristen is not feeling well.

Wow, we are so good, they just can't stand to let us stay in one place.

Happy hump day to you all.
Krista

Just reporting in with about 40 inches of snow. Another 1-3" for tonight and snow showers tomorrow. The sun peeked out for a second today.

I'll tell you! We could get a complex here! Second time to get locked! Oh well....chatty bunch I guess.

Sandy-Glad to here Ted made it home ok...I was a little worried thinking about you and all that snow alone...well the girls but still. 40"!!!! You asked for it!!! But I guess not all at once! LOL!

Denine....I hate the car shopping thing! With a passion!!! Worse than regular shopping actually. LOL!

Patty! It is about time!!!

Oh no!!! Did anyone notify Diana? Of ocuse she is nowhere to be found. MIA she is!

That's it!

Less than 3 days to go!!!! YIPEEEEEEE :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Then only a month and a few days....till 9 whole days!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys. I'm here/ Thanks for doing the switch Sue.
I wasn't supposed to work today. The tech's who were scheduled couldn't get out of their driveways so I was asked at 6:30 this morning to go in ... on foot. Someday, I will learn to say no. I just got home at 6pm. I snowshoed in, and was able to walk back. Good to be home. I think the deck is a gonner though.
Yes, I'm still glad to have it, but it might have been better in titrated doses. Oh man, you should have seen some of the ER cases! Back injuries are expected but ewwwwww, you don't even want to know what a hand looks like after it was stuck in a snowblower chute!
OK, time for dinner. See ya!

Lori, sounds like a wonderful day at work! yuck! Glad you are home safe and sound!

Hey, does anyone watch American Idol? I like Ruben, Clay, and Tennyce. Anyone else?

Laurie, I loved the Email! I tried to forward it, but the piture wouldn't come out. Where did you gget it from?

Lori- good ting you have snowshoes! You are dedicated for sure!
They're lucky you live close enough to walk...just how far was the walk?

Hope you all are able to dig out without too much problem. I imagine with snow that deep snowblowers aren't much help

Not much new here. I hope all is well out there!

My own personal counter
2 days and counting!!!!!!! Yipee!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Glad everyone found the new thread OK. I sent a PM to EVERYONE (including Diana). What a shock to wake up and find out that we had been locked AGAIN. They can lock us but they can't stop us!

Running late so gotta run.

Later!

Oh yeah. I started Weight Watchers yesterday. Let's just say my weight was not what I wanted it to be and it was a slight increase from last week. Next week will be in the other direction!

About the snow: Be careful what you wish for!

The war has officially started. I hope all our troops stay safe!

I am desparate to lose this weight. Let's just say I weighed 120 lbs when I got married 11-1/2 years ago and don't weigh that anymore. I hate the way I look!

Spring starts tomorrow, at least on the calandar.

Yikes!! I had a hard time getting on this new page.

First I got a message I did not have permission to be on this page. THE NERVE!!!! The of course I did not know my password and had to get it reset.

Here I am. Thank you Susan!! You are wonderful to get a new page set up and get us all notified.

Yesterday I had the day off. Progressive has closed 2 times in the 5 years I have been here. Jaymee and I watched the Anne Of Green Gables movies. I basically did nothing all day but watch TV, 3 pages for Jaymee's scrapbook and EAT!! Bad Bad Bad.

Lori and Sandy- Have you gotten dug out of all the snow up there??

Barb

Lori, so sorry about your deck. I know the people around here with decks were concerned. Our neighbor shoveled it more than the sidewalks. What a horrible day at work. How did people even get in? Our side streets are completely impassable. Believe me, I know. Ted didn't make it to the house. We are going to try and drive it here today.

Susan, you CAN do it. I am upset with myself for not trying harder to lose the weight. I want it so bad but I am not trying hard enough. Denine, you are doing so good. Hopefully, you can be all of our inspirations. Don't forget to weigh in all you late people. It was to be yesterday. I lost 1 pound.

Barb, how much snow did you end up with?

Bonnie, getting close to finding that new car yet?

Julie, I watch American Idol periodically. I like Clay and I believe his name is Joshua. Actually, most of them are superior. It would be hard to choose the best.

Forgot to tell you guys something. It rained yesterday after the snowstorm for a short time. Then the snow came back. I thought that was strange. I was wondering if it was really rain but the weatherman said it definitely was.

Ted and Heidi are digging out her car. Guess I better go help. (darn)

Hi, everyone.

Are you guys tired of the snow yet??? Lori, hope the deck is not too bad. Ted, hope you get your car home soon.

We had lots of cold, rain and some flooding today. Supposed to start warming up later this evening. Starnge, huh? Tomorrow we should be about 73 with partly cloudy. What a way to start spring!

I did very good on the weight watchers plan today. I am VERY motivated now. Sandy, we can do this! Denine, way to go!! You are an inspiration. Who else lost last week? I can't remember.

I'll check back in a little later this evening.

Later!

I lost l l/2 lb this week. I forgot to sign in yesterday with weight lose or gain

Our snow is melting already....I see lots of green grass in the back and front yard....I heard that they had 60" someplaces north of us. I don't know if it is because of where our house is or what but we never did get that much snow...it was about 2 or 3 ft deep where it drifted against the fence. I heard Puelbo didn't get that much but at Colorado City south of them they were buried....it had something to do with where the wind goes up you get more and where it comes down not as much....

Been watching the war news all day....so far it sounds like things are going good for our troops....
