Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

I have been checking cabin availability every hour for weeks now....there are once again Cat 11, Cat 10 and Cat 8 cabins available!!! I was able to move from a Cat 10 on Deck 2 to a Cat 8 on Deck 7!!! HAPPY DANCE!!!

I had a GTY 11 cabin, 7631 HA...and you know how I felt about that, HA and no couch and all.

Check my res. for some last minute tour excursion today...and NOW we are in cabin 5518!!!! Can you say Cat. 8 with a Ocean View!!!!!! PLUS Couch!!!!! Very Excited...jumping up and down for joy!!!! (p.s. not a pretty sight)

Got Palo Brunch, Got Upgrade...Life is GREAT!!!!

Oh no...just had a thought...what happens if they change my res. back to a Cat 11? Is there a time limit before cabins gets locked in and no more changes?

I ended up at the doctor today. Since I have asthma, it ended up in my lungs. I am armed with drugs now! Unfortunately, I had to call off work today.

I would love to get an upgrade someday! Congrats to those that paid for and got complimentary upgrades!

I don't want to think about CC. That means it is time to get off the ship.

Maybe a daft question but does anybody know what happens if you chose to downgrade your category at this stage? If I thought they would put the difference between a Category 10 and Category 11 on our stateroom account rather than just forfeit the money I would be tempted to go from our Category 10 to an 11.

what a night and day here in Philly. The storm that came through yesterday and today has caused some serious flooding. The river down the street from us floods from time to time but this time it has reached even higher and is reaching houses.

Roads are closed everywhere due to flooding and downed trees. We were fortunate to have no damage.

Hope everyone else in the Philly area is doing ok and have not been impacted.

We also saw huge volumes of rain here is Delaware. Lots of roads and schools closed today. The streams and rivers all flooded. First we had the snows and now the rains. Wow, we need a break from this weather and take a cruise. Glad to hear you had no damage. 15 days to the Magic.

Boy, we really dodged the bullet on this one! Most of the rain went to the west of us, although other parts of NJ had a lot of flooding. I was expecting the worst but my sump pump hasn't even gone on yet.

Anyone know off hand what time the Magic is supposed to leave CC? As of 1800 (6pm) her position report was at CC. I thought they were supposed to leave at 430 ish?

Edit. The times listed on the page, are 4 hours ahead of ours. The 1800 report would be 1400 or 2 pm EST. Took a few minutes to figure that out.
