Well, I missed what was going on for a couple of days and find we are on a new thread. I also see that there is another thread. Sorry guys but I'm confused, lost, don't know which way to turn. A little guidance to an ol' fool like me would be greatly appreciated.
To Pinkygirl, back several posts ago I asked if anyone had changed their dining rotations and if they got them changed ok. Pinkygirl suggested I try talking to our TA and let them know of our preference. Great suggestion Pinkygirl!!! I never gave that a thought. I'm going to do that now, and see what happens. I'll let you know.
Well, I'm going to pop over to the other thread and see what's going on.
Keep thinking those Disney thoughts and dreaming those Disney dreams!!!

I would do as Pinkygirl suggested. Your TA should be able to get you the dining request that you want. For my cruise next week we asked for PLA and she confirmed with us yesterday that we do infact have that rotation.......The earlier you get your request in the better probally!!

Welcome back. To make a long story short (because you really don't want the long version) we have two threads for this cruise. Some of us are using both threads, some have choosen to use one thread, you can do whatever works best for you. Regardless what thread you choose we are all here to have fun and make this the best cruise group ever BECAUSE we ROCK

Just reading up on the earlier posts and saw some had asked about staying at hotels for this cruise. We live here in the Sunshine state over on the west coast. What we like to do is a day or 2 before the cruise we drive over to WDW and stay at one of the hotels there. We usually stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort to keep with the Caribbean theme of the cruise. Then the morning of the cruise, we get up early, eat breakfast at the hotel, pack up the ol' clunker and drive over to the port. Leaving the ol' clunker in the terminal parking lot to fend for herself. (So far no additional scratches have been added at the terminals parking lot.................................not that you would notice anyways!!!!))) Seriously this has worked well for us and they do take good care of your car there. Last cruise we took it was vacuumed out, washed and waxed!!!!You have to leave a good tip though!!!
But we do leave the house a day or 2 early and stay at WDW until the cruise. This just jump starts a GREAT vacation for us!!!

The last two cruises we have stayed at WDW this next time we cruise next week we are going to stay @ the Port............Then head to WDW after the cruise this way it will be easier than heading straight home since we are sooo VERY SAD once the cruise is over!!

Well I'm going to make some calls about group rates (after my son goes back to school) and I will post them on here. I will add the Caribbean Beach Resort to the list of hotels to check out.

Dining rotations are where you eat on a specific night. Last cruise, we had the PLA rotation meaning that we ate our first night in Parrot Cay, Next night in Luminere's, the next night in Animator's Palate........Then each night after that you continue the rotation........Our dining rotation got messed up due to Hurricane Omar....But with this rotation this kept us in Luminere's on Formal Night which is nice!!
