I can hope some people in lower categories cancel, if not I will enjoy my view!!!

Oh I see, I didn't understand at first that you were in the military! I think all the military bases are rather far south from were I live (almost on the North Sea!) and I must admit I'never never really been to Southern Germany, except for Munich.

"Ein beer bitte" is a great bit of knowledge of German, by the way! It will get you a long way :thumbsup2

And the good thing is, quite a few words in German sound or look very much like they do in English, so once you know that "ein beer bitte" means "one beer please", it's easy to figure out other important phrases such as
"ein schnaps bitte"
"ein glas wein bitte" or, if you like it non-alcoholic,
"ein glas wasser bitte"
"ein kaffee bitte".

See? Sometimes it can be an easy-to-learn language after all :)

I am here and will be on more often. This is going to be a great cruise. We are also staying at the Radisson. Megan will have to fly down on Sat but Jose will be with us. She can not get off on the Friday.

Hiya Leisha! :wave2: We are staying at the Radisson too! :yay:

Well we are booked. A little more expensive than I wanted. All cat 6-12 are full. I am hoping for some cancellations before then. We are in a cat 5 GTY. We won't even have a room number for a while. I am really suprpised it's so full for October.

have a great day all.

We have a GTY 5 with no room number too. :confused3

twist, twist, when I saw it so full I thouhgt better to be safe than sorry.

Glad you did! :yay: Maybe Frank will start posting over here now that you and Roger have signed on.

Say, we will be at sea on a Sunday, so it looks like we will have to giggle our way through the 'Arghhhhhhhh Father' again. I wish Mary & Mark were coming :sad2:

Boy, now that we are all here yakking away on this thread, looks like we'll be driving the page count up!

That's our job to be chatty!!! I think Sunday is Key West and Monday is the sea day. But we shouldn't get in until noonish. So arghhh father here we come!!

Good morning!!!! I hope Frank does not mind a couple of Methodists joining his service. Tommy and I can use all the help we can get. :lmao:
We have never been to Key West or grand Cayman. I am looking forward to seeing both. When we took the Western it was two castaway Cay days and Coasta Maya.

Be careful what you wish for:rotfl: Our last cruise had like 25 threads but it was not all us!!!:confused3[/quote

Good Morning Ladies

Whats it going to take to get this thread to take off us BOBERS?
It's about time this Boards gets kicked up a notch:cool1::cool1::cool1:

truck1 How are the wedding plans?:) I want to hear all about it for future reference.;)

Hey Leisha what about us Congresgationlist:lmao::lmao::lmao:don't forget us.

I agree

Joanne have you looked at possible excursions for us?

Good morning all.

We were just in Key West at Christmas, not much there, just lots of bars and T shirt shops. They wanted $12.00 a head for hemmingways house and the kids didn't care so we just wandered around, had to have Key lime pie on a stick. it was wonderful!!

Mallory Square is interesting, crazy people doing crazy things wanting$$. The pretzel guy is an ex-NYC cop.

Grand caymen, beautiful beach if you just want to hang out on the beach. If you have never been I suggest the sting ray city trips. Very pretty reefs also.

Cozmel- party town with beautiful water, last time we did the Fury catamaran and it was so much fun!!

I haven't looked to see what Disney is offering, are any of you snorklers? I know Julie mentioned horseback riding, but we have only done that once and I feel for any horse I have to sit on!!:rolleyes1

Kathy where is Frank? We need his input on the Board

He's been really busy since we got back from the World last week. I will try to persuade him to start posting again.

I'm hoping people will have some good shore tour recommendations, since we haven't been on the Western before.

Hopefully we can find at least one shore tour that we can all do together, since this sounds like a great group. A great big DIS party party:

I hope all the PRINCESSES princess: out there are dusting off their tiaras for Tiara Night princess:

Pirate mass? :rotfl: That's the one bit of ill-planning I did. DH has never missed mass. No way to get to one with this cruise from what I've seen. I can't believe they don't hold a real mass anymore.

Annichan - lol. I can do those. :upsidedow I could do all the rules at one time too. Was great on paper. Never could speak it well, though. Perhaps I'll embarass my dh by tring a bit with you, though. "Konnen Sie mit mich ein Bier trinken?" :D (Sorry, have no idea how to do an umlaut here. Not sure if I got the order right either. Gosh , it has been a long time.)

We were in Key West in 2005. Since it was our first ever cruise we booked the conch train tour - it was OK but it was very hot (Sept) & you couldn't get off anywhere. We also went into a museum - nothing I would do again.

I like the beach idea. There are also a couple of swim with dolphins that might be nice. Probably won't see me on a catamaran! Even with meds I get sea sick!

Key West - my parents advice was to take the COnch tour and see where to go from there. Then again, they also recommended MAllory square at sunset and that just does not sound like my thing. :scared: I'm a small town girls who;s led a pretyt sheltered life, though. :upsidedow

Oh yes, I can't wait to try one of those! I' have never had one, only read about it here on the boards.
It doesn't sound like something I'd really like to have now while the wind is howling and throwing snow against my window, but ask me again in sunny Florida :rolleyes1

Great, this is getting better all the time! Now I'm not only teaching people how to order drinks in German, but I also get invited to have a beer with you. Sure will, thanks! :thumbsup2

(I just have to be careful here that I don't get a reputation as liking my alcohol too much, so let's talk about something else. :rotfl2:)

It's really nice how this thread is getting busier and busier!
