Thanks Deb! It already seems so much closer than when I first joined up. Have a great weekend everyone. We are taking our first visit to a Great Wolf Lodge on Sunday so I'm excited. It's a surprise birthday for DD. I sooooo did not want to deal with a birthday party this year. I'm pretty sure she won't be disappointed though.

I've been busy this past week. Ol' bossman was on vacation and I had to help out. Well he's baaaaaccccckkkkkkkkk come Monday morning. But I'm taking Monday off to rest up for the long hours I had to put in last week. But the extra money is going towards paying off oue cruise!!!!!
Sounds like most of you have some pretty good plans this week-end. Hope everyone has a great time. Me and DW are just going to take it ease, maybe take in a movie, rest, watch the ol' TV and catch up on some much needed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's.

Hope you are all having a great weekend! We have been SOOOO busy.
Yesterday was crazy..it was Brendan's last regular season little league game yesterday (he still has the "championship playoffs" with one of the divisions we play against next week, and Ron is coaching the All-Stars but I can't wait until it's over and we get like a month break until football starts) and then we had the after party, Savannah had dance rehearsals and we hit about 4 or 5 stores shopping for Sarah's birthday party which is next week.


I finally got the party invitations done and in the mail!!! I was browsing on etsy and got a great idea for a custom made invitation and decided to try my hand at it. I was only working on that for like, oh...two weeks straight! I made them to match our party theme, which is this:

She did such a good job on those invitations! I took one of them to work and hung it up on the bulletin board and everyone was so impressed! I'm always amazed at her photoshop skills.

Now I'm really excited to see what she can come up with as a logo for our Bring Back the Magic cruise!:

Just stopping in for minute to say hI

i ve been so busy with moving and work.

I think another 2 weeks it shoud slow down some

I also started a new "hobby" i guess you could call it.........

Which is cutting coupons.

I started out with one paper...
then moved up to 2 papers........

Now at the new store i am in they drop off about 20 papers on sundays and noone even opens them it seems so i took all the coupons the last 2 weeks.

So i have been busy cutting and organizing them.

The past several times i have grocery shopped i have saved at least $30 with coupons most times more.

i have always been a thrifty shopper but now.shew watch out!!!! they might owe me money whne i am done!!!

Okay...after seeing those awesome invitations, I feel like even more of a slacker mom for taking DD to GWL instead of having a party. Sometimes just the thought of organizing a party wears me out. I just couldn't bear it this time. Mommy of the Year I'm not.

Lynn-I'm a coupon cutting fool too. Also, do you know you can find tons of printable ones online?

Oh, BTW, we did have an AWESOME time at Great Wolf Lodge. Expensive but I highly recommend it.

When my kiddos were younger i did all that pretty stuff too, now they get a pizza and friends over. And even that tends to ruffle my feathers.

Although we are going to have a nice bday party for DD turning 13 in October.

And no i did not know you could get coupons on line......PLEASE DO TELL!!!!

I have heard of Great WOlf Lodge......its an indoor water park right????

I think that would be really cool!!!!

I have somany now id ont know how to organize them.

I dont want to spend a lot of time trying to find them after i cut them.

So i am trying to organize them into different categories, very small categories and i am putting them in envelopes then i guess i am going to put the envelopes into some type of shoe box???

Not sure if this is the best way or not.

But couldnt think of any other way.

Thank goodness!!!! We are finally getting some much needed rain down here in the ol' Sunshine State. I'm sure my fellow Floridians will agree with me on this. It's been a long time com'n but it looks like the rainy season is finally here!!
By my calculations gang, (and please correct me if I'm wrong), it appears that on June 3rd we will have just 500 days to go until we sail away on the MAGICal Ship!!!! Don't know about the rest of you, but.............................. I'm ready NOW!!!!!! Hope everyone has a good day today. Lynn-here's what I use to organize them. I bought mine off ebay.

I had one that I got from Gooseberry Patch but I lost it. It was a lot cuter and less expensive. Go to their website and I'm sure they still have it. I print a ton of coupons from www.coupons.com. You can also get them from Smart Source but I can't ever get my computer to print those. Also, the manufacturer's site usually has coupons as well. You need to come over to the budget board as there are some serious coupon users over there.
