ANY input good or bad would be appreciated!!!
Well, I can't offer much because we always stay in the same place...Fort Wilderness. We get to mix the "camping" we love with Disney...what could be better? Now, I'm not sure about the cabins (we stay in our RV), but we couldn't be happier with our stay
I don't know if you've ever been over there, but it is sooooo peaceful and quiet. Our close friends go to Disney alot as well, and that's probably the one (and only thing) she complains about...is the noise at the hotels. As far as her experience goes, they tend to hear families coming/going all through the night. We've never had this. I know that when we lived in California and frequented DL alot, I kept dreaming about WDW and Fort Wilderness...it hasn't let me down yet (5 trips so far with the 6th this October)
Anyway, just my opinion. I don't know if you're staying with alot of family, but I know the cabins have separate BR and kitchen facilities...I always love being able to get straight up and have breakfast in the morning before heading out for the day

The one thing is, though, if you're looking for a "disney" pool, you'll be out of luck...it's just a plain pool. I did read somewhere they're planning on adding to it or making it a "theme pool" at some point, but don't know when that's going to happen. We spend so little time at the pool...it's more of just a quick dip here and there. Also like some of the other resorts, they have an internal bus system that can (at times) drive you crazy. We've had trips where we get on those buses to the sites with almost no waiting...then we've had trips where it seems as though we've always "just missed it" and had a little wait. But I think some of the other hotels have these systems as well...isn't CBR the same way?
What we love is stopping by the stables, attending the Chip n Dale marshmallow roast/movie and the fun boat rides over to the Magic Kingdom!

We also usually take 1 or 2 days off from the parks and do things just around the campground and it's just like another world. They have bicycle trails (with bikes to rent if you don't have your own), hay/carriage rides, horseback riding, etc.
Now I know there's lots of places to say, and FW just isn't some people's cup of tea, but we enjoy it! Just my 2 cents worth
