Isnt it funny How we change with age....
10 years ago i woulod not have wanted to just SIT on a verandah or balconey......NOW i just CRAVE IT!!!!

WE are even thinkign about renting a room while the kids go to their granmas for chritmas just to sit on the balconey and watch the water for the week......even if we do nothing else.

Am i weird have i gotten old before my time........
Does any oen else just crave the solitude and tranquility am i an odd bird or fit in with my age group?????????

yeah, and even though my kids loved all the parties on the FIRST CRUISE, for us was a HALLOWEEN CRUISE, i was starting to get partied out......
and just wanted to sit on the verandah.

nope.....I love sitting alone sometimes and just relax....i don't get too many peaceful moments here at home so when I get a chance I go for it!!! LOL

You dont want to try the other resorts?

Do you use your DVC for the cruises?

We do not use DVC for the cruise, ever. It is just a ton of points and the deals that we've gotten from Carol are just not worth using our points for. Maybe, sometime but not now. I will have a lot of points next year....


We love SSR and so do the kids. We are going to BCV in April and we have gone to VERO which we love and want to do next summer. But I really do not care if go to any other ones maybe, Contemp. one time....We'll see. Where do you own? And stay most times??

You must try Vero Beach. It is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about sitting and relaxing you can hear the ocean while lying in bed at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I always ask Bruce if we ever move to FL. will you keep DVC and he is like YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We would do more long weekends, etc...!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE bought DVC While living in Florida in hopes to the ADVENTURES and try alot of the other resorts that they offer.

I know they are opening one in Hawaii, that i am sure we will do.

And yes VERO BEACH......WE actually had that booked and then cancelled it when we decided on the Cruise we did from Cali.

But we will be using our points for the cruises at least for this time and maybe one more time, depending on what mt DD wants to do. BECAUSE, My DS had wanted to go to China for his GRADUATION, and i was willing to do that for him, becasue he had alot of difficulty in his early years and we are that glad to see him make it to HIGH SCHOOL and GRADUATE, BUT when we went on the DISNEY CRUISE, he said he would just go for doing the DSINEY CRUISE every year until he graduated INSTEAD of CHINA..........WOW i had no problem with that.

SO i will LEt my DD pick probally the next 4 vacations after this cruise.
