I had the cheesecake and couldn't understand what they hype was. It did look awesome, but it lacked so much in taste. I'd rather have a mickey rice crispie treat dipped in chocolate.

Yes the lobby is very cool.

They have frozen cokes and I think there was a second choice like cherry. The kids loved filling a refilable mug with them.

Pop has it's own bus service and doesn't share like the all-stars do.

We found twister on our walk

You have to walk around it, there is soooo much to see.

If you are around the resort at Illuminations time, if you head towards the lake you can see the fireworks.

Everything in the sundries shop is way over priced.

They have good cheese steak wraps at the food court.

We didn't use the Hippy Dippy pool and regret it. On our last day we walked around and saw it. So much more to do there.

The kids used the computer pool. The pools are very busy at night, and I'm talking like 10pm or later, so if you want to actually sleep, get a room away from the pools.

I'll think of some more, a little person is crying for my attention.

I like the twister, that is so neat. We have been to POP before, but walked from our room to the food court and that was it. We will have to explore a little more this time! Our DD would love twister.

I didn't know the frozen coke was refillable in the mugs??? Yeah, we love icees!

Someone mentioned Golf carts?? What would you use those for?

It's so quite over here.:faint:

I wish my fellow swappers would come around here more.:yay:

Sometimes I forget I'm running a swap.:goodvibes

Worm! Your on deck! You ready?:laundy:

I'm up after Worm and I'm getting excited! I've been many times before but I'll be with 5 nieces and nephews who haven't! Nothing like seeing it for the first time throught their eyes!

This is from Deb Willis's site, allearsnet.com

I thought these were just a perminent fixture at the front doors. I don't ever remember seeing them move.

Someone's gonna be the favorite Aunt. What are their ages?

I got the text messages from Valjean yesterday and I'm looking forward to arriving on Sunday and retrieving the fridge from storage. Thanks, Valjean, for the waters! :goodvibes We shipped a box down yesterday with non-perishable items. I haven't started actually packing yet. I've got a couple of stacks ready to go into the suitcase. I'm planning to do that tomorrow (Friday) night. It's race weekend here in Indy. :cool1: I'm going to the parade on Saturday and then having a cookout at my parent's house. The next couple days should go by pretty fast!

so some of you are shipping your items there and back?? wow that is a neat idea. I can't deal with trying to fit a weeks + worth of clothes in 2 suitcases ech (and paying for them!)

buckeyelabmom: Woo Hoo its the last week! Are you ready??????

I'll be using gardengrocer.com to deliver some things to us.

I'll send it on over to you, got to pull out the info, when do you think you will arrive on the 24th, I would love to hand the fridge off to you in person!

Well, we're back. The fridge worked out great for us. We were able to get it out of luggage storage right away and get it plugged in. We had shipped some things down and they were also there for us to pick up on 5/25. (Having an 18-year-old along was great, by the way.) We put the box on the floor to the left of the sink/vanity area and it worked as a "table" for extra bathroom items. On Sunday, we cleaned it out and signed our names on the top and passed it along to Worm761 on Sunday afternoon. We had a great trip and it was nice to have cold waters available in the room! Thanks again. Can't wait to see the fridge again, when I go in September. Seeing our names on the top will bring back a lot of good memories.

Let's start at the top :) They are - 15, 10, 8, 5, and 11 months :)

I am almost ready. Today is my last day of work - so tomorrow and Friday I'll pack and get organized. We fly out Friday night - flying into Tampa - much cheaper for us! We have a rental car all week - which we haven't done before. So I'm interested in seeing a little more of Orlando and such. THe rest of the family doesn't arrive until late Sunday - so we have the weekend to just chil and explore!

Is this swap available for AS Movies as well? I need frig for Oct 5 - Oct 11, 2008. Thanks!

Kristi

HI! buckeyelabmom:offtopic: I have a question how far is the drive from Tampa to orlando? This may be an option for us as we are still searching for flights! And if you don't mind me asking apprx how much was your rental car?

We are planning on about an hour from Tampa to Disney. Orlando (MCO) is about a half hour away from Disney so we didn't think Tampa would be too much more. I'll update when we get home though! Right now we have a full-sized SUV booked through Alamo and with a last minute deal we are paying right at $200 for Friday night through the following Sat. morning - so for a week + 1 day. I'm thinking about changing to something a little smaller though so we can get better gas mileage! Most classes of cars were about the same price though through Alamo.
