I have been so frustrated being an AP and DVC member and was locked out but this morning I got it for my wife and I ... keep trying!

That's great news! I booked quite a long time ago so I was able to get in but I know there are many who have had issues.

Happy you got yours! I booked a cash room and got a 1 day ticket for the family just so we could get reservations. We eventually were able to roll those into APs and got a DVC stay for that time as well, but I wanted to be sure I had it!

did the calendar show availability or did you just try?

I just kept trying ... its like reloading for fast passes. It said it was sold out but every day I tried a bunch of times ... it worked at almost exactly 9am...
