I know this has nothing to do with disney but they stand out side the parks and provide police services to wdw. Please keep him in your thoughts tonight getting killed just for doing his job i hope they find the suspect and give him a bullet in the head.

That is sad. We just had an Officer killed on duty right before Thanksgiving. Praying for the safety of all Police Officers everywhere. They deal with the very worst of society just to keep their communities safe.

i just think the fact that he was married to another deputy and they meet in the acadmey and dated every since they become deputy. Not saying it any less sad if they are both police officer but just how they meet.

Oh wow, this is my work nightmare. My heart always quickens whenever any of my officers don't get right back to me on the radio. Prayers to that family and that department.

Where do you live? Our neighboring county in Colorado had a deputy killed by a gang banger the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. DH is a patrol sergeant in our county, so it hit pretty close to home.

And, just my opinion about the suspect offing himself. Better him doing it himself rather than having a LE officer be put in the position to take another's life in a suicide by cop scenario. That just happened DH, his friends and coworkers, and it SUCKS. The dirt bag in Florida just saved a whole lot of time in investigations, stress, and money. Justice may never be served, but considering how justice gets served these days......
