Oceaneer club/lab photos?

I know there are photographers for the character meet and greets and those photos get linked to your account, but does that include when the characters show up in Oceaneer's club/lab? Or do they only take photos of the kids when parents are around?

I was looking for an answer to the same question and found the following (you can take pictures during open house when parents are allowed inside). You do have to be careful not to photograph others without consent (read about someone getting kicked off for something like that):

Will they allow kids to take pictures? My kids have never had phones during our past cruises, but this time my 11 y/o will have an old iphone w/ a camera. Will they stop her from taking pics with her sisters?

Yes, they will stop them from taking pictures. Any picture taking outside of open house periods is prohibited and the rule is strictly enforced. The only exception we encountered was a picture taken of our son during a M&G, but it was printed and handed to us when we checked him out. There was, of course, no other kid in the picture.

Did you have to sign a photo waiver or something? We would like pictures with characters as well.

When we were on the dream (a decade ago) we didn’t get any pictures as character meets were over and we didn’t realize those took place.

No. It was just there when we showed up. We didn’t know in advance they would be taking a picture and it’s the only time it happened to us, so it might have been at the initiative of one of CMs that day, it was not printed on photo paper, so the quality was not great, but our son enjoyed showing us who he’d met when we were not there.
