We are planning for the last night of our cuise to go to Palo's for Dinner. What is the best time for reservations? We want to bring our kids to the Oceaneer Club before so they would have dinner with the club. Anyone with thoughts, concerns or better ideas? Our DD is 7 and our DS is 5.

Counselors take kids to dinner at 530/600 if I recall....I would recommend a 6 pm Palo res....That way, you will have plenty of time to see 830 show, with or without the kids (Disney Dreams, do not miss), as well as pack.....

Here's how we did it on our recent 4 nite:

The last night of the cruise is the night they do the kids show at 5:00 (takes about 20 minutes) that you don't want to miss. After that, we checked the kids out (took forever bcs they had to get the kids back to the club and every other parent was doing the same but disney handled it well w/ 3 checkout places).

We took them back to the room for room service and then to the 6:30 Dreams show. I really wanted my DD to see this show and she would have missed it if she ate w/ the other kids. After the show we dropped them off and headed to our 7:30 Palo reservation.

They did have the Dreams show at 2:00 that afternoon, but the kids were spending their last hour in the pool so we did the evening show.

I hope this helps!

I just checked my daughters navigator from the 5/27 Wonder. On Friday night (our second night) dinner was scheduled from 5-5:45. On Saturday (our final night) it was from 6-6:30. We ended up booking Palo's for the first night and I'm really glad that we did. It got the vacation off to a terrific start. My DD(7 3/4) had a great time in the lab. They didn't have much scheduled, so she could do arts & crafts, play games and they had a welcome aboard party for them with pizza. She was fully occupied from 7:30pm right up until almost 10:30pm. She didn't want to leave. We booked Palo's for 8pm and nearly had the restaurant to ourselves.

Our last day was spent at Castaway Cay and after all the sunshine and swimming, going to the disembarking speech at 4:30, followed by my DD in the Disney show at 5pm and then having to pack up all the luggage and have it out in the hallway by 11pm, I never could have made it to Palos. I ended up watching the Disney Dreams show on television as I was packing the suitcases. We had the 8:30 seating in Animators Palate and we just barely made it to that.
