With a 3 YO and a 6YO, our excursion options are limited. I've looked into booking an independent snorkle excursion, but some won't allow my 3YO at all, and others really want him to stay on the boat exculsively. The ones that will let him on, are only 1 1/2 hours long, and for that short period, the money they want isn't worth it IMO. I looked into Atlantis submarine, I could book directly through them, but DH has an inner ear problem and is not allowed to scuba dive at all or dive more than 8 feet below water. I'm sure it's presurized, but not worth the risk also. We're going to Jungle Beach Break in Costa Maya, so we're really not interested in a beach excursion on Cozumel, so this is what's left. It does look interesting, and I think the kids would get a big kick out of it. I know it's expensive for what you get, but it's all we've got, and I also think it would be good for the kids. Any comments on this excursion for those who have taken it?

We took our DD (age 5) and DS (age 8) on this excursion in September. They really enjoyed it! The trip goes to Paradise Reef which was discovered by Jacques Cousteau and is the second largest reef in the world (next to Great Barrier Reef). They really enjoyed "looking for Nemo" and going over an airplane that was sunken for a movie. Snorkelers were around the ship and were waving to the kids - they got a kick out of that. The lower level of the boat was airconditioned and there were "cheat sheets" showing the different fish that you might see. DD was SO excited when she found a big sea star. My kids are not great swimmers so snorkeling was not an option and this gave them an upclose and personal look at the ocean floor.
