DD9 is fair skinned and burns easily, especially on her scalp at the point where her hair parts. Regular sunscreen (lotions, potions, sticks, and sprays) work but leave hear hair sort of greasy.
I found, at Wal Mart, something from Ocean Potion called Dab-on. It isn't a stick; the stuff inside is liquid but the bottle has a dauber-type applicator. I used it over the weekend while she played soccer and it worked like a charm! It's easy to get right on the part line, it dried quickly and her hair didn't get yucky.
I paid around $5.50 for it and went back to Wallyworld today to buy more. They were out, so I looked online at Drugstore.com. They carry it $4.30
Anyway, just passing on the info for others who might like to try something new. (It's probably not new, but I am a little slow on the uptake sometimes
