What's your occupation?

I'll start... I'm an architect, part-owner of a firm in Knoxville, TN. I'm the IT guy for us. We started the firm in Sept. '04 with 2 of us, and now we're up to 14 people. :cool2:

Right now I'm a professional student. I've been in college for 10 years now. :faint:

Next year, I'll be an English teacher. :teacher:

I am a Transportation Manager-- I deal with the railroads and work on contracts and service issues involving them and my division which is 35 facilitues. I dealt with trucking companies in the same fashion until Oct when I got a promotion. :cool1:

SAHM right now and loving every moment of it (well, almost! :rotfl: ) Prior to that I was a clinical medical assistant and even prior to that, an Asst. Mgr. of a Disney Store :earsgirl:

I work in HR for an Investment group, but will soon be returning to school to get my PhD in History/Archaeology.

Marseeya,
I see you've got a WVU logo avatar. Are you at school there? My brother graduated last spring from WVU in landscape architecture.

I am a finacial analyst in the corporate planning department for a bank. That mean I calculate rates monthly. Yes- it is as boring as it sounds :rotfl2:

home repair and remodeling contractor,, specializing in small projects,

own and operate "Honey Do's Home Repair service"

I'm a bank teller and a full time student. Hopefully next year I'll have my B.S. in accounting - I've only been going to school for 8 years LOL. :)

Unemployed librarian! Now that sounds pathethic, doesn't it!!! :teeth:

Got my Masters in Library Science over two years ago, but have not found a "real" job yet - just temping and part-time nights/weekends (the hours the "real" employees don't want). Sigh. Maybe time to change careers ........ again. :(

EDITED TO ADD: Unemployed no longer! I just found a new job as a librarian in a really modern library! It's part-time, but got to start again somewhere! :teeth:

Yes, that's where I go. I've heard the school's landscape architecture program is excellent at WVU!

I am a Medical Billing Manager for a Diabetes & Endocrinology Treatment Center.

I manage a custom picture framing store and I love it. I've been at my job for 18 years - I started when I was 16 yrs old.

I am a Software Engineer. I work for what was once the largest employer of Long Island. Actually I think my company is now the second largest supplier of aircraft to the navy.

I am a Software Support Analyst, which means I troubleshoot software problems and correct data problems for my customers, which are various government entities.

Today is my last day as an office manager. At 5:00 PM today, I officially start my new job as full time SAHM :cool1:

I work for a small company. I wear two hats--as the Marketing Director and the Asst. Ops Manager. I also order the paper clips anbd copy paper, we don't have an admin, so four of us have kind of split up those types of things.

On the side I persue my passion professionally as a photographer. I only work in the entertainment field, primarily shooting rock concerts and candids for CD covers/liner notes. My goal is to be doing that exclusively in five years. It just takes time to develop a portfolio and the right contacts.

Edited to add that I also write for a local entertainment magazine. It's fun, I've been able to interview some pretty famous musicians, a few of which were really funny and interesting...a few of which, well, neverind;)

Anne

I'm a speech-language pathologist in the public schools...and a graduate student....and a mommy/wife (my most IMPORTANT job!). I love my job
