Hi All, I know this has been asked before but I can’t find the thread.

Does a child under 3 years of age count towards occupancy limits? Thinking about a 1 bedroom in AKV next year and there are 5 of us including my then 2year old.

Option 2 is if my brother and his family comes, we could go a 2 bedroom but we will still be 1 over if you include the baby.

Thanks for any help….

The occupancy rules are all stated as number of persons plus you can have a child under three using a crib/playpack so you are fine for AKV one bedrooms that sleep 5 (all but the "value" point cost rooms). Same applies to 2BR.

Thanks do 2 Bdroom sleep 8?

Yes. But they better be very friendly. Occupancy is based on 2 people in the master bedroom, 4 in the second bedroom and 2 more on the pull-out in the living room.

Nine would work, we can throw all the kids in one room and the baby in the pack-n-play with us.

If you have multiple children under the age of three, any more than one WILL count towards occupancy. So if you have 2 yr old septuplets, six will count and one won't.
