OCC says deed being processed - How long now??

We received notice from Fidelity that we had closed on July 17 and our information was sent to OCC that day for recording of the deed. Finally it showed up on the OCC website yesterday (the 22nd) that the deed was being processed "Note: "This document is being processed. The information displayed is subject to change."

I looked at the number of deeds being processed that were bought directly from DVD and they have been in process for almost a week. Does it take that long to record a deed??

So now I wonder what is the real status. Has Disney been informed of the resale purchase or will they only start creating our account (as 1st time buyers) after deed has been recorded. When could I reasonably start calling them to ask (well, beg in a nice manner) for our membership #?

And will the contract # stay the same as the contract # from the original buyers that sold it to us?

Expect it to take up to two weeks to process your membership and receive your points.
We recorded our deed on May 16th and received our points on June 1st.

You will receive a new membership number and a new contract number.

My contract was submitted 7/17, recorded on the website 7/18, and Disney got the paperwork 7/19. I just called today and talked to member services and they checked the status using the original contract number (on the deed from the title company).

They confirmed when they got the docs and said it's still pending...could take up to 2 weeks total.

Also, Disney is informed of the resale when you start the process. My contract currently has the original owners listed, a status of RESALE IN PROGRESS as of 6/17/2013, and a notice of when they received the closing documents. I had a DVC friend look it up.

Try calling member services using the contract # and ask if they have received your stuff.
