Ocala and activating APs...

I think I'm gonna buy our AP vouchers a couple months ahead of time at the Disney store since we'll have a little extra money then.
We'll pass Ocala on the drive down. Anyone know how late they are open? I would like to activate our vouchers so we can get a jump start at MGM next morning for Star Wars weekend. I think Ocala might be faster than us driving into DTD late that night.

While Ocala sells activated passes, I don't believe that they can activate a voucher.

In October of last year DH & I activated our vouchers, which we purchased from our local Disney Store, at the Disney Center in Ocala. No problem doing it, either. They close at 6PM I believe. We always stop there on our way down, so we thought we would ask, even though when I called a couple of months before I was told they no longer activated them. It's like with anything else, depending on the CM you talk to, it is possible you will get a different answer. If you travel that way, I would stop and give it a try. Worked for US!

They are open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Yes, they can activate an AP voucher there. Ocala is run by Guest Relations where Disney's other off-property ticket outlets are not.

Well, if they close at 5PM, you will easily make it to WDW in time to activate your pass at one of the Guest Relations desks. We have always activated our passes at the International Gateway. Never a line, never much time needed. They are open until at least 9PM.
