New to CA and wondering what airline & airport typically has the best non-stop rates to Orlando. We live in orange county but are more than willing to drive a bit if it means saving $$

If you want non-stops, you're talking LAX. That will be United, Delta, or American. With a little shopping, you can usually get round-trips for $230-$260.

United and Delta both offer redeye flights, although they occasionally disappear from the schedule for a few months. I think American no longer offers a redeye, but since I never fly them, I'm not reliable on this one.

you will find one-stops from John Wayne, but the prices are normally higher, and the hours are often less convenient because of the restrictions on takeoffs and landings at the airport.
