OK here goes, this may be hard to follow since I'm aggravated. We have been to Disney multiple times and we know the importance of planning but DW doesn't want to go and I swear is sabotaging my obsessive planning. I waited for her to book our trip till the 180 day mark and then booked our trip and all adr's and got everything we wanted (only 3) but something told me not to celebrate. This was about 20 days ago... now I found out I have to work around to Christmas Parties (DW work and her families...) ugh. So I adjust dates on everything except BOG lunch (the only thing DD really wanted) We lose one day and one night off the trip... OK I'll roll with it. I checked MDE and called dinning, nothing available for lunch on 12/17 for BOG lunch at 160+- days out. Tell me it will be OK... how often should I stalk MDE looking for availability? any tips? Thanks for the rant.

Keep stalking. It's a pain, but you'll get what you want.

Try one of the dining watch sites (Disney Dining Buddy, Disney Dining Scout, etc). You'll get it! Hang in there!

I know this will probably not help, but I hope it does.

We hated BOG lunch. Most of the food was disappointing. The rest of it was ok.

I hope you are able to book what you want, but maybe if you don't, it could be a blessing. Regardless, good luck!

You can pay for one of the services if you don't want to deal with the hassle of stalking the site. Otherwise, bookmark the BOG website and just check whenever you get online and have a chance. Be patient; I was just able to get the BOG ADR (day and time) I was looking for today, less than 90 days out (no service used). Also, check often when BOG breakfast reservations open up through your dates if you haven't found what you want by then!

I've been to bog twice and both times I had reservations I wasn't excited about. Then the week of, things started opening up, and I got what I wanted, and in turn released mine. People change plans, decide they won't like the menu, or want to pay the price. Be patient, it should work out.

You have a pretty long way to go for your trip. Keep checking, at least once a day. Honestly you will probably have the most luck with finding availability closer to your trip. Most people cancel reservations when their trip is getting closer. Don't stress, just breathe, maybe watch your fave Disney movie, and just remember, no matter what happens, you still have a trip planned for Disney World!:smickey:

Best of luck! princess:

My wedding trip to WDW is in 38 days (wedding is in 44 days) and as far as I know my in-laws haven't booked their flights yet. I have their entire trip planned and they just started asking questions about things that I told them about months ago... So I feel your pain.

Well the two week honeymoon is awesome. I've always wanted to try an extended relaxing vacation... but I think I would still plan it out. lol

We're there 23 nights and I have FP+s ADRs or some kind of plan for each day. We'll evaluate the night before how much we want to do each day.

Keep stalking! Never give up, never surrender! :) I landed an ADR at the 'Ohana character breakfast sfter 2 weeks of trying. Perserverence is key!!

I never knew about these apps! I tell you, Disney people :D I still have some time so I will check the site regularly until I am about 90 days out and if I still can't get Crystal Palace for breakfast during our 2 MK days I will sign on for one of those. Thanks for the info!

We made a completely unplanned trip to Disney about two weeks ago (due to being in the area for a funeral) and walked right into BOG at lunch right as they opened at 10:30. You have plenty of time to still get an ADR, but if you don't, you can always try walking up. Good luck!
