That's right, Tia. Everything will become sooooo much clearer after a shopping spree at the Holiday Bizarre...I mean Bazaar. I still don't know when, or if, I'm going to fit in the Tapestry of Dreams parade. Gotta see that one again for some reason.

Aaaaaaand, you're not getting out of the Tower of Terror either, Ms. Tia! Barb and I will drag you along, right Barb??

There's a small glimmer of hope that I just might do ToT.......DH was telling me that he thought I should try RnR first, then ToT, THEN Splash Mountain! This is news to me........He feels Splash Mtn. is the worse of all 3!!!

Is he pulling my leg?

Oh and BTW, RnR is completely out for me........my friend Judy told me that she felt like her heart could have stopped beating at any moment during take off! No thank you!

Steve, if you and Barb need anymore abeled bodied persons to help purseude Tia to do the TOT, I'm game. (now if I can just figure out how to get my girls to join in ) I'm afraid of heights!! Big time. I almost hyperventilate, but I'm riding the TOT by gosh!!!!

Now...for my updated (very flexibile) itinerary. I was waiting until things were firmed up a little more before really digging in. I admit I didn't want to rewrite it many times over, but it is still subject to change! Well, here goes!


Thanksgiving evening - Nov. 22nd

Around 5:00 or 6:00 check in at Wyndham Hotel near airport. Too much road constuction and detours to make the trip in time to get plane in the morning. So much easier this way, only about 10 minutes from the airport, instead of an hour or more!

Friday, Nov. 23rd

7:45 a.m. Leave Pittsburgh - arrive Orlando 10:04 a.m., Pick up car and check into Grosvenors.
Sometime in the afternoon go to BW to meet with our DVC guide (may buy an add-on at VWL)
Go to TTC to pick up AP
8:45 p.m. PS at Califormia Grill (great view of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 9:00)

Saturday, Nov. 24th

Check out of Grosvenors and check in at BWV
MK Day (I think, depends how busy it is, but definitely in the evening)
8:00 Spectromagic
9:00 Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks
10:00 Spectromagic (not sure which time)

12 noon - Arrive MCO. Pick up rental car. Check into Westgate Town Center (timeshare). Go to MK, see Spectromagic and Fantasy in the Sky. Collapse!

Sun 11/25
Either visit with friends in Lady Lake, Fl (just south of Ocala) or Islands of Adventure/ Universal Studios.

Mon. 11/26
AM in AK till about 2:00.
PM in Epcot with dinner at 5:30 in Akershaus and Candlelight Processional at 8.

Tues. 11/27
AM at IOA/Universal
5PM Whispering Canyon Dinner Meet (wearing our IOA tee shirts )
7PM Resorts Tour

Wed. 11/28
AM - Epcot. Plan to meet the singles group at 2:30 to ride Malestrom, then on to MGM to see the Osborne Lights & Fantasmic (dinner pkg)

Since the airline cancelled my return flight I have to stay 3 days longer (this will be my longest Disney vacation!!). My AP is valid thru Dec. 2, so I think I will buy a 2 (Dec. 3rd and Dec. 5th) and go to Seaworld on Dec. 4th instead of Nov. 21st.

On Dec. 6th I have to be at the airport around 14:00 for my flight back to Amsterdam!

Everything keeps changing, so it's a good thing I have my itinerary on my Palm (or whatever it's called). And besides, the first rule of having an itinerary is to veer way off it at the soonest possible moment.

Steve, I will be more than happy to help Tia get on ToT or any ride/attraction she tries to back out of!!
Tia, dear, the launch on RnR is THE BEST part of the ride. The suspense (count down) and the total rush when it lets go is fantastic! The rest of the ride is over is seconds.
I will go over my scribbled itinerary and see if I can post it later tonight. I'm sure it will follow the path of most you, as we planned just about everything together!

I just thought about something.....if the Grand Floridian Tea is at 12:30, I should have time afterward to go over to World Showcase and catch the 4:00 Tapestry of Dreams Parade, and then get over to MGM before 5:30 for the Fantasmic Dessert party. Guess it's a good thing I'll have a car.... I guess the jury is still out on Spectromagic. Bummer.....

And BTW Dear Friends (namely Barb and Steve ) I don't THINK so! I have given into Splash Mtn., but RnR and ToT are very, very doubtful! Too scary!

11/24 move for 1 night to Animal Kingdom Lodge, play, maybe see some friends
11/25 move to BWV, play, see some more friends
11/28 send family home first thing in the morning, then register for DIS Con

11/28-12/1 stand around and look confused until somebody tells me where to go and what to do

12/2 quick goodbye breakfast and off to airport to catch 10:45 flight

Seems about right to me.
