I got back a few weeks ago from a great trip. I cannot stop thinking about it, and when we can go again. I am obsessed. My husband and 5 year old daughter too. We talk about our trip almost every night. It's depressing, because I don't know when we'll get to go again. But I don't know how long I can wait!

I've been looking for jobs in Disney. I am an engineer and applied to an engineer job for Disney the day after we got back! Of course, haven't heard anything.

I don't know we can make it to Disney more then one time a year (we live in NC), but I am on a mission to figure it out.

Our family is the same way. They wanted to live in Florida to be closer to Disney as it is - given this winter we all want it more. Our daughter in college already put in the paperwork to do an internship there.

We decided that we will get to Disney every year no matter what we have to do. This year we might have to give up visiting family - but we told them they can join us in Disney.

We started making videos of our trips because we felt just like you when we would get back. Now when we need a fix - we watch the video.

I hope you figure it out and hope you hear from Disney soon.

yup! I think we all feel the "withdrawl" when we get back, whether we want to admit to it or not. I especially get twinges of jealousy and excitement when a friend tells me they are planning a trip, and I semi-stalk their social media for pictures while they are there! Sad, I know.

I think in time, it fades, or you start planning your next trip. ha ha ha

When we got back from our Honeymoon is September I had the withdrawals baddddddd. It was 10 full days at AKL, deluxe dining plan, eating at Signatures every day. We had planned the trip for around 2 years before we actually went.

And then all of a sudden it was all over and man we were depressed. But I realized how my cycle works every time we come back from and WDW vacation.

Withdrawal and sadness for a couple weeks after being back. Then it goes to a couple weeks of, 'all right, I've had enough Disney for awhile.' I stop looking at these boards, thinking about it, wishing I was back and start to think of some other things we could do. Then after those couple of weeks it's back to these boards and back to thinking about it and back to trying to figure out when we can go back and start planning again.

It's a lovely cycle.

I am right with you guys!! We got back 3/9 and can't wait to go back! Unfortunately, it won't be until June 2015. We talk about Disney everyday, listen to Disney music, watch Disney movies. It's going to be a very long year!

We got back in September from the bwi and a dream cruise. We have withdraws as well. We booked a dcll cruise for next February...that will be our birthday, and Christmas gifts. We won't pick our resort unitl later, we are going back and forth. We will probably stay one maybe two nights, before the cruise! Already getting excited! . Speaking of jobs at disney..I would love to work for dcl...we had a wonderful lady cm who checked us I to the bwi for our cruise. I can't think of a better way to start the day hanging out at the bwi! Or any disney resort for that matter!

I'm the same way! It's like when I would get baby fever, but it's about Disney. Lol! I think dh is getting tired of me trying to get him to agree to return earlier than what we agreed upon.

But, I'll keep trying.

My sister is a reservation agent for DCL!! My youngest sister works at MK in Adventureland, my aunt works at AK in one of the shops in Africa, and my brother is an electrician at US/IOA!

~Sigh.... engineering is awesome -- you get to build and create fabulous stuff -- especially at Disney. I hope you get to become an Imagineer, Disney will always need new energy and ideas. I know the down side of it is budget, time restraints and possible creative differences. But, you will always have the opportunity to design and innovate for Disney.

~I had a few friends and colleagues who went to Disney about two weeks ago for Spring Break and they all had a fabulous time. I wanted to go so bad but I was very happy for them. I can't wait to head back to WDW.

You've come to the right place because everyone here is a Disney addict and knows exactly how you feel. The only solution is to start planning your next trip.

We are right there with you! My son is watching a Disney singalong right now. All of us are obsessed and can't wait to go back, but unfortunately, that won't be until next year. Our families still think we're nuts for wanting to go back again "so soon". We have regular Disney nights during which we watch a movie together and play a Disney game, which is helping to pass the time. DH and I regularly fantasize about moving to Florida someday. It's a problem!

How long have I wanted to move to Orlando and work at WDW? So long that I'm now nearing retirement age. Now I don't want to work there so much, I just want to live nearby and hangout a lot!

For younger folks, you might consider relocating to the area, but working elsewhere. I have a hunch that the Disney corp. is full of people who always wanted to work there...and are now employed for a lower salary than they could earn somewhere else.

Yes, very much. My youngest sister always calls me when she does a magical moment! That would be my favorite part!

I'm with you. We went for our first time last March. We thought it would be our only time but we had so much fun we are going back, not until Oct of next year! We are cutting back on extras and saving that money for Disney. I read these boards daily and we talk about what we want to do again and where we will stay and eat. I'm totally obsessed!

I am definitely obsessed, as soon as we get back from a trip, I'm already on the website planning another trip. Luckily, I only live about an hour and a half away!
