We just returned from another trip to Disneyland. My daughters are 4 years old and 6 years old and LOVE their princesses! :dance3:
We stood in line for PFF for the second time this trip and met more princesses as well Aurora and Cinderella at the castle.

I realized on this visit was a huge difference there is with the princesses. There are two kinds:

1. The people who put on a dress, wig, and makeup and smile for pictures.

2. The people who truely play the part of a "princess" and make it sooo special! :lovestruc

My daughters enjoy all of them, don't get me wrong. They are THRILLED to see any of the princesses! Just a something I noticed. Some of the princesses just stand there and look pretty and smile for the camera. But there were some this visit that make the interaction SOOOO special! I truely felt like I was talking with Cinderella and Aurora and Ariel. :cloud9: I just think it's wonderful that there are some princesses who can talk with the girls and spend some extra time with them asking them questions, dancing with them, and truely making it an EXTRA special experience. :bride:

I totally agree. In Disneyland a few years ago, we had a WONDERFUL Ariel. Which I was so thrilled about, because my DD loves Ariel. So it was so nice to see her interact with her favorite princess. My DD had a Ariel locket and Ariel made it a point to tell my daughter how beautiful it was. She flipped her fin very excited like and my daughter was soooo excited!!! That Ariel made our trip!!!

Definitely! Thankfully there is always at least one character that makes our trip special. I imagine that posing for pictures and trying to come up with conversation with 1,000 children a day is tiring . . . so I doubly appreciate those who really take the time to chat and engage the kids.

I especially love when they stay very seriously in character. Belle, with totally serious look on her face: "Wow! Did you ride your horse here all the way from Denver?"

Snow White was amazingly in character at Goofys Kitchen! It was the best experience ever! She even sounded like her!

We had that experience with Jasmin on our last visit. Jasmin talked to DD for about 5 minutes (as the line at PFF backed way up). She was great. Asking if she flew in from Canada on a flying carpet and admiring her shoes. It was great. Cinderella was great too- we saw her at Goofy's and then the next day at PFF and she remembered that we already had her autograph- which I thought was pretty cool!
DD still remembers her conversation with Jasmin so it was obviously a great experience for her.

I know what you mean!! I have always loved Ariel and have never met her at DL until I was about 17. I bought an Ariel crown and everything! When I went up to meet her she was asking me what ocean I am the princess of (i said the pacific ocean lol), and then asked if I knew dory & nemo because they live in the pacific ocean too!
It was super sweet, even though I wasn't a little kid she still took the time to interact in character and made my frist meeting with my favorite princess memorable!
We had a wonderful "Belle" on DD's first trip back in February. DD was just turned 3 and very shy and wouldn't speak to her. Here's a short video clip of their encounter.

lol!!! i liked belle's reaction "you're very good at that game!"

I so agree. last summer we waited and waited in the line at PFF for my DD who just turned 2, she loves them all. When it was finally our turn, we saw Aurora, Cinderella and Pocohantus. None of them said one word to my daughter they just smiled posed and passed her own. you should see the pics with Cinderella, they are so bad it's comical, her facial expression is like hurry and take the pic already smile, it's so sad. I was so disappointed, but yet happy DD was too young to realize they really sucked big time. Now Tinkerbell and Silvermist are another story, they were WONDERFUL!! Especially Tink, she played peek a boo with DD and talked to her and all, DD was in awe, it was adorable. I was so thankful to Tink!

ITA!!! We had a fabulous Snow White last September (actually 2 of them). At GK she did the Twist with our girls and then we saw her "again" at Ariel's and she had a very long conversation with DS who was 9 months old at the time. He was so in love with her....the little flirt!!! It was a highlight out of all the visits last year. Also in December at GK, Cinderella paid special attention to our youngest DD. Cinderella is her favorite and my sweet little 2 1/2 year old had such a magical meeting with her.

I especially love when they stay very seriously in character. Belle, with totally serious look on her face: "Wow! Did you ride your horse here all the way from Denver?"

LOL Belle and Beast has friends in our small neighboring town of Turlock. Apparently they visit up near us often.
