Obopay

I just found the Obopay offer on SR. Don't know why I never noticed it before. Anyway, can anyone who has used it explain to me how it works. I am not thrilled about another company having my back acct. info.

I didn't realize that this offer was just posted today on SR. I did try to sign up but keep getting a message that I can't be verified with my driver's license # and to try my SSN. I'm not interested in that, so I guess I will miss out.

I looked up info about them, and found a couple articles about them and they seem to be legit. I use it more than my simon card, and it is refillable for a small fee. I was hesitant at first, but really like them alot. Sometimes when my simon is refused, they'll take the obopay. Besides, it's a free $10!!!

How long have you been signed up for the service. I currently use the Simon card, but obopay seems like it would be easier. I am signed up, but I am not able to use the service until I am verified. The info said you could verify with your driver's l;icense #, but it won't verify me that way. It wants me to put in my SSN, and I was hesitant. Thanks for the info.

I signed up over the weekend and I was just looking at my account history on SR - no credit yet.

I signed up for this through mypoints but it was for $25. Looks like they have lowered it. I have had no problems got the card used it cut it up have not been contacted since.

I know when I signed up it said a free $10 prepaid Mastercard. But when the card came it only had $5 on it. Oh well. At least it gave me credit on SR in addition to the $5. Thanks

Since it is linked to your cell phone, unless you have another cell number it might not work.
