I am so thankful that I found this site.
Just today I found this thread for Codes and Rates. I'm a newbie to all WDW stuff and I had no idea such deals existed.
A few months ago I sent away for, and received, our trip planning DVD and information. My family browsed through it, watched the DVD, and put it toward the back of our heads until recently, when we're really trying to hunker down to plan a trip for next year.
A few minutes ago, after reading a lot about the PINS and Codes (which, truthfully, I have yet to really grasp), I decided to search my old email, thinking maybe I had a code, PIN or something that I wrote off initally as spam.
I did.
Had I found it earlier, perhaps we could have planned around it this year.
It was a deal on a value room or 40% off on a room (if I understood it correctly), but all the offers are only good this year ~ and there is no possible way we could go until maybe early next year ~ February at the earliest, but even that's pushing it.
Losing out on a deal like that makes me so frustrated.
Maybe I'll just cross my fingers and hope that the powers that be take mercy on me and send me another code next year.
Next year I'll be smarter. I hope someone who reads this can learn from my mistakes.
