We have been booked for another cruise since day #3 of our last one, and took advantage of the re-booking incentives while on-board. Now with the KSF promotion, our TA has cancelled that original ressie and re-booked us in the same room. We save just about $1000, but lose our OBC. Is there ANY OBC from Disney with the KSF promotion? Just starting on our trip budget!! 4 months from today!!!

We lost our rebooking on-board OBC when we changed to KSF as the DCL Rep told us it was one promotion or the other. The KSF worked out to be a better deal. I would expect that if you booked a new KSF cruise on-line you would still get the $25 on-line OBC, but that would be it.

Does your TA offer an OBC for booking thru them? If then that would be the only OBC you would be entitled to since DCL does not all you to book a cruise with 2 coded offers from them.

Thanks, thats what I kinda figured. Still saved a wack of money even when I lose the OBC $$ from the original ressie :)

We changed our booking to KSF and still get our TA OBC. She told us we would still get the OBC from Disney. I guess I need to put in a call to her.

Everyone is correct, you can not combine the onboard booking incentives with another discount. The savings with the Kids Free will by far outweigh the benefits you received for booking onboard if you have at least 2 Children on the reservation.

You can certainly rebook or have your agent rebook the Kids Free online to get the $25.00 but I've found that since this discount can be applied to an existing reservation (even if it was booked onboard), most people would prefer to do this because they will keep their original stateroom, dining times and the deposit that was already on the existing reservation (10% deposit). A new reservation booked with the KSF will require a 20% deposit.

The basic idea is that you can get only ONE discount from Disney that requires the use of a code (the system will only accept one code per booking). KSF is a code...as is a military discount, a FL resident discount, a Disney Visa OBC, onboard rebooking, etc. The online booking $25 does not require a code, so that can be obtained by you or your TA and can be combined with most other "deals."

Any OBC from your TA can be combined with anything else as that is not from Disney.

Also, I wonder why your TA flat out canceled your on board booking instead of converting it to a dummy date........

I was also wondering this...
I guess they wouldn't need to put more than 10% for down payment, wouldn't lose room, etc.
I would want to keep the OB benefits though and keep a dummy date

We are cruising in January and will choose another date on board (dummy or otherwise) at that point... not too worried about it. Our TA knows our future plans :)
