OBB VIP Tour

Just noticed that they are offering a VIP tour for the OBB. If you click on Learn More, it says that the VIP tour includes “event admission”. So do we think you can get into a sold out party by booking this tour? Pricing is not offered, so I have no idea how much this would cost (and does it include ride access via the LL during the mix in and during the party (when LLs are typically not available))? Any one done this or have any more information on this tour? I think I have seen some plaids during the parties the last few years, but I thought maybe they were families that had the regular VIP tour for the day and just continued on through the party with their guide.

The pricing estimate for the Oogie Boogie Bash VIP tour (8 people) ranges from $7,500-8,500 depending on the date and includes admission to the Oogie Boogie Bash event. On the lower end of that price range, that would be about $937.50 per guest for the maximum party size of 8, and on the higher end, $1,062.50 per guest. Keep in mind that this price would include admission to both parks before the event, admission to Oogie Boogie Bash, VIP Parade viewing (which you would normally have to purchase a dining package/Dessert Party for to get reserved viewing), and a food and beverage credit per guest.

This actually sounds like a decent deal… picking a Tuesday October date you’re spending at least $333 for Disneyland and OBB. That means vip is at most, $729/person extra. I assume that includes some kind of front of line at least over at OBB, probably not at Disney beforehand.
