Just curious if anyone knows what the capacity is for the events or how many tickets are sold on a “sold out” night. We were lucky enough to get tickets for two nights during our trip. I knew that if the event was at capacity it may be hard to experience it all in one night

Every OBB party is sold out every night, every year. I’m not sure if capacity varies amongst specific date though (are Tuesdays in September lower capacity than Sundays in October?).

I kind of think getting tickets for two nights is a waste. It’s very limited capacity compared to how many people normally go into the park. It sells out every night every year because of this.

I was thinking about trying to get tickets for 3 nights, which did not happen. Why is 2 nights a waste in your opinion? I'm being sincere in asking that... The gf and I are Anaheim newbies, and we figured that multiple parties would be a great way to explore everything exclusive to OBB. At the same time, we also thought we might sneak in a ride here and there.

We did one night last year and had time to do pretty much everything except the parade which we chose to skip. But otherwise I think we fit it all in including all the treat trails, villains grove, etc. Instead of the parade we did multiple rides, virtually all of which were practically walk-ons including the big-uns like Guardians and Radiator Springs. So if you've got 2 nights you should easily see everything and not feel rushed. Should be a blast!

I would say it is not hard to see everything there is especially if it is just two people. Were you able to get two nights of OBB tickets?

Waste seems like a strong word. But our family of 4 did every ride and show, every treat trail with a character, the parade, and villains grove from mix-in to party close. So you don’t really need 2 days to get everything done. Crowds are low and the treat trails go fast. You don’t have to wait long to secure a spot for the parade. You do need to time villains grove to avoid a wait. The caveat is some of the special characters get long lines for pictures. But we aren’t that interested so we skip those.

When you’re traveling from across the country and this will probably be you’re one and only visit to DL, it’s not a waste to try and see and do everything at the event and spread it out between two nights so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed

It's definitely not a waste to us at all to do more than one night. We like to do things multiple times (treat trails, some character photos, etc) and the parades are pretty amazing so we see those multiple times. We don't even ride on any rides during the party, the entire night can be filled with just party-specific offerings.

I highly recommend Villain's Grove! It has a long line but it's worth it to us. You'll have an amazing time :)

My husband and I did two nights last year, and I am doing it again this year (he can't take the time off this time) twice because I didn't get to do all the things I wanted even with two nights. Mostly because the husband was ride focused. This year I am focused on doing Villain's Grove, which we never did, and seeing characters. I think two nights will be fun for you!

Thanks for the tips. We’ve done MNSSHP several times since we live closer to Florida so this is exciting for us to experience DL and all thing Halloween there🤩

I mean a waste of money because you should be able to do everything in just one night, plus there’s so many other people who wanted to go and now won’t get tickets since lots of people got them for 2-3 nights. From what I hear you can do all the activities + get on a lot of rides in the 6-8 hours since you’re allowed in to the park early at 3 pm. If you have kids it might take longer to do it but if it’s just the two of you it shouldn’t be too hard to get it all in. But this is just my opinion.

It is super hard to get everything done in one night especially if you factor in rides. Character lines can take up a bunch of time just by themselves. You really have to prioritize your night.

We have done MNSSHP at WDW several years, and we usually go twice during a trip because it is impossible to get everything done in one night if you want to see most of the characters, in addition to doing parades, shows etc. We don't usually focus on rides at parties- we are more about the special characters and events.

In October 2021, we did Oogie Boogie at DLR for the first time. With the treat trails, seeing some of the characters is so much faster than the WDW parties, so we were able to get everything done we wanted in one night. I'm not sure we did any rides at all though-- I think maybe Spiderman as it was a virtual queue during the day at that time and hard to get--- DD doesn't like Guarians of the Galaxy, so we didn't have to do the Halloween version. Even though we got everything done we wanted to-- Oogie Boogie was the highlight of our trip, and the only time during our trip we weren't totally slammed with crazy crowds-- so I would have loved to have had a second party night.
