Hi everyone! This is my very first post. My son Oakley is 3 and was nominated and granted a Make A Wish trip!
He was so excited when I gave him the paper and told him what it was.
He hasn't 'officially' decided on a wish yet, but the first thing out of his mouth was MICKEY! So, I am pretty certain this will be his wish.
I have been having a great time reading these boards. We have never been to Disney before. I know several parents who have went to GKTW and Disney and cannot say enough wonderful things about either.
Oakley is 3 and was born with a variant of prune belly syndrome with in turn gave him his kidney disease. Oakley will eventually require a life saving kidney transplant as he gets older.
We have a total of 5 children, Oakley is our youngest. Thankfully the other's are healthy.
I look forward to talking with you all throughout our journey.
