disney film. do you still even watch them? since having ash i have started watching them again. ash now has quite a collection of about 50 dvds. i have to say my fave is pocohontas. it was the first film i remember seeing in the cinema and i love colours of the wind. it was also the first disney film i showed ash one night on you tube and her obsession grew from there. i had to replay the part where the racoon jumps off the cliff over and over *** she was laughing so much :rotfl2: colours of the wind was also the first song ash learned to sing to so i guess that will always hold a place in my heart.

well what about you??

The Little Mermaid, I love it! I saw it at the cinema (twice) when I was 6 or 7 so I was the perfect age to get hooked. I love the music in the film and really want to see it on broadway one day :)

I love The Lion King. We saw a preview of it in WDW before it was released and couldnt wait to see it properly. I love the song Circle of Life

Can it be Disney Pixar? If so mine is Toy Story. I can watch Pixar films all day long, especially now with Kacee. Infact we watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on Saturday.

While I love many Disney films I must day that we love Mary Poppins the best. My oldest is now 13 but I can still remember watching him do the penquin dance and sing along when he was wee little guy. Second would have to be Enchanted, the score is incredible. As for strictly animated it is a tie between Beauty and The Beast and Tarzan for me, followed closely by Little Mermaid.

of course!! toy story is ashleighs fave at the moment. she has a new fave every week last week was brother bear.

Beauty and the Beast. No hesitation! I love the story, music and characters. We went to see the stage version last Christmas and it was great. My second favourite is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Basically the same stories and both set in France, although Quasi doesn't get the girl.:sad1:

Sleeping Beauty ( I really am just in awe of how Disney created such a fabulous villain in Maleficent. Geek alert !!! Did you know that when Imagineers were creating a baddie for Aladdin they were told to take inspiration from Maleficent and you can spot the similariites, tall, large headress, carries a staff, familiar is a bird, transforms, I'm sure there's more too)
Toy Story - my eldest was obsessive about it, he still has the toys although the cardboard rocket I had to make for Buzz has gone, Jessie got given to his cousin Jessie and Emperor Zurg stopped working when his brother decided to give him a bath.
Then it's close The Lion King we all cried watching that one and The Fox and the Hound, another that my eldest and I watched over and over again.
Just realised that there aren't any that stand out that I watched with my youngest DS, he doesn't sit still long enough to watch a film.

Mulan & Toy Story 2 are my faves but I also really like Lion King & Enchanted too:)

Mine has and will always be The Little Mermaid, Ariel reminds me of myself in many ways. A close second has to be Brother Bear, I dont watch it that often as it makes me cry my eyes out.

Kyra has a new fave every week and right now its Toy Story.:confused3

Hello all, has to be Peter Pan for me. There are others like Beaut and Beast and Snow White will always be a fave. Peter Pan is just the best. I remember seeing it so so many years ago at the cinema with my dad when I was just a little girl and have always remembered it as a lovely memory.

Just one???

Mary Poppins - everytime favourite, we have seen it so many times i could play Mary's role without having to study the part lol

Beauty and the Beast - I am VERY romantic and it makes me cry every time

Enchanted - for the same reason even if it doesnt make me cry lol

to be honest the only two Disney movies i dont like are The Hunkback and Pochaontas, i just can't stand them LOL

:scared1: I love that one!

Then again, I hated Cars - I thought it was really boring.

For me it has to be the very first one I ever saw in the cinema...a very long time ago. And that is Bambi.....I loved the music...drip drip drip little April showers...I cried at the first Disney death  and I laughed at Thumper :rotfl: .It holds a very special place in my heart.A classic that my boys also enjoy today.

Toy Story ....brilliant ...the first DVD was actually wore done and both my boys are big big fans of Woody and Buzz.

Its just so hard to choose I also love Beauty and the Beast ...so romantic and the Beast turned into such a handsome man ...Yes I know he is cartoon but a beautiful one at that

oh i love love love bambi. its so sad when his mother dies and he is looking for her. maybe it would have been easier if i asked what disney film do you not like lol. i love almost all of them

I haven't read anyones replies yet (because if I do, I'll just end up going "yep all of them" :rotfl: ).

My favourites change all the time. I'm not really into the classic Princess films at all, at the moment I'm liking Ratatouille, and I love Tarzan. The first Lilo & Stitch movie makes me cry, I love it but its so sad. Mulan is a firm favourite in my house too.

But out of all of them, if I can include Disney Pixar, its Toy Story and Toy Story 2. I just think they are so clever, and I believe those toys come alive pixiedust:

And I can't hear "when she loved me" from Toy Story 2 without sobbing - I even cried at that bit when I took DD to see Toy Story 2 on Ice :sad1: :sad1:
