O/T Itunes movie rentals?

I am considering getting the kids some movie "rentals" from itunes for the trip to disney on the plane/or car.
Has anyone done the purchase or rental on itunes?
If you rent a movie how does it work can you watch it once or ?

We've done it before.
Once you download the movie you have 30 days to view it. Once you start viewing the movie you have 24 hours to watch it as many times as you want before it's deleted.
I prefer to find 'bargain' movies $10 or less and just buy them. We also have a program that dh uses to copy the movies we've bought and put them on our ipods.

I was hoping to download them onto their ipods also so that would be great.
I guess I can only do that to ones we purchase so I will go and see what oldies but goodies I can buy.
