I getting pretty tried of these quest where I have no hope of ever winning.
I can't play fireworks and that is just totally written in stone. 200 credits and a great deal of frusration or quit? Gee, what ever will I do?

So I'm giving up and getting off the computer. I'm going in the back room to paint and watch Disney movies.

So the real quest is: which movie to watch? I like the old ones.
I'm thinking maybe "Summer Magic" or "Happiest Millionaire" or "Moon Pilot".

What are your favorite Disney Movies?

Dianne

I like Beauty and the Beast, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Let's see... I like Moochie of Pop Warner Football or Lots of Luck. I also enjoy Blackbeards Ghost... Man, are any of those even on DVD? I just watch the 15 year old video tapes...

I still think there should be a Dusney Classics channel that only plays old shows (Kids Incorperated, MMC etc.) Cartoons and movies. I would pay for it...

I'm partial to the animated ones: Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin are faves :)

Have fun with the movies. :sunny:

Hey, when the Disney Channel first came out -many years ago now- it was all old Disney movies and I stayed up late many a night watching it. Since they started on their all new Disney programing, I almost never watch the Disney channel now.

I like the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and I dont know if this is "really" considered a real disney movie but I really liked Narnia. :)

Actually, Blackbeards Ghost is on dvd. :)

I've said for quite a qhile now that there should be a Disney Classics Channel. Evidently, within a few months of me moving in with my now ex, Disney Channel did show some of their old movies late at night. But they stopped it before I moved and had access to the channel. :( I'm sorry, but what tween is up at 2am on a weekday watching the Disney channel?

Anyways, some of my fave Disney movies are Mary Poppins, Chips the War Dog, Color of Friendship, Apple Dumpling Gang, Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, Boatniks, Bon Voyage!, Candleshoe, Charley and the Angel, Cool Runnings, Ernest Green Story, Escape to Witch Mountain, Flight of the Navigator, Friendship in Vienna, Gone are the Dayes, Happiest Millionaire, Herbie series, Love Leads the Way, Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N., Misadventures of Merlin Jones, Newsies, North Avenue Irregulars, Shaggy Dog, Swiss Family Robinson, Those Calloways, Treasure Island, Treasure of Matacumbe, Ugly Dachshund, Watcher in the Woods

I know, it's a long list and a lot of the them are pretty obscure. :D
But when you own over 350 Disney movies, it's hard to narrow it down. :lmao:

Nothing beats Disney/Pixar movies! Their story line and animation is simply the best, I could never decided which one I love the most. And with Cars coming out soon, I think I'm even more excited than my girls. lol

As far as regular Disney animated ones; it's a tough call between Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. I'm a huge musical buff and they both have amazing songs and beautiful stories. :)

Yeah, when Disney CHannel was first release in like '83, it was the reason my parents got cable.

I grew up watching that stuff. Now I watch some playhouse dis stuff with my girls, but the new movies and shows do nothing for me... I hate Raven! Am I alone on this? If I have to hear her destroy Under the Sea again, I am going to scream!

You left out Snowball Express and Toby Tyler?

lol

The sad thing, I have seen almost all of those. What bothers me is they are releasing these on DVD slowly, but there are no bonus features or extras and they get no promotion. It just iritates me. I am sure they would make more money with a commercial free all classic Disney pay channel than they do from the DVD sales. I would pay $5 a month for that...

Actually, I do love those too! :) I know. So many of them have not be released to dvd yet. And those that have, like you said, have had no promotion. That's why I actually periodically do a search (not only on Disney's website, but others) to find out what's out. Also, I've found out that the few that are released in "widescreen" still are not in the original widescreen. They still have cut some of the sides off. Which is really irritating to me. I want the full original version with extras! And as I know that Disney keeps everything, they have the extras to put on the discs.

I totally agree that they would probably make more money with a classics channel.

LOL schnerk, I have a secret like of That's So Raven (shoosh.. no telling), but she did butcher Under the Sea on Disney Mania.

In no particular order I couldn't choose just one so here are my ten favorites of the animated features:
Lion King
Oliver and Company
Lilo and Stitch
Sleeping Beauty
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
Dumbo
Alice in Wonderland
Mulan

Toy Story, Finding Nemo,The Incredibles,Lion King1-3,Mary Poppins,Fox & The Hound, Lady &The Tramp.... all of them especially Fantasia
