Would anyone be able to offer a website that might help me learn about what the really great Timeshares are in the Caribbean. I'm interested in St Thomas, St Maarteen, or St John. Thanks. Not sure how to get started learning.

Resale, Resale, Resale!!!

We bought at the Royal Palm Beach Club (Sunterra) in St Maarten (love the RP) for about a fourth of what they try to charge you for it. Many others are the same. (I do think that there are some considerations about resale with Marriott though...)

I'd concur with TUG and with resale. Whether buying in the Caribbean is a good choice for you may or may not be another matter. Spend a few months making sure what you want and what will work well for you. Buy the Caribbean most if you plan to use it, the fees are too high for trading for most situations. Marriott has resorts on St. Thomas, Aruba and St. Lucia; Westin on St. John and Bahama's. Various points systems will also work for the Caribbean in various degrees including RCI points, Bluegreen, Westin, Wyndham, Divi and Sunterra; there may be others I'm not thinking of. Also consider the Royals in Cancun which II actually includes in the Caribbean.
