O/T: Boards Like This One

Are there any message boards like this one for travel to other locations? My friends are planning on a trip to Mexico in the next couple of years, and depending on how our trip together next week goes, we may want to join them. I have found some nice condos, etc on redweek.com for Puerto Vallarta, but I don't even know for sure what area in Mexico we would like to visit. I have gotten such incredible information, tips, and advice from this board, that I would like to be able to research the next vacation as much as I can. We could not have been able to afford this upcoming trip if we hadn't found the DIS (we would have spent some much on the last one that it truly would have been a "once in a lifetime" trip!) Any information will be appreciated.

Try travel talk at frommers.com. Looks like there is a huge "Mexico" board on this site. Happy vacation reading!

I used this board a lot to plan our honeymoon to the Mayan Riveria. These folks are knowledgeable about most tourist areas and the board is very active.

You can also try www.fodors.com They have active message boards on many destinations. However, I must warn you that some of the other sites aren't quite as friendly as this one.

The lonely planet website has forums like these. I got a lot of info off of this website to plan our trip to S. Korea last year. They also have great guide books I just borrowed them from the library.
