Sorry - couldn't find the original thread as I stupidly didn't subscribed....but I GOT MY Dwarf plush toys in the post this morning!!!

Can someone that subscribed please post a link to the original thread so others can see how we got these - I'm so pleased as I've now officially started my Christmas shopping!!

they arrived separately in plain brown jiffy bags with just your address printed on a label....but on this label is the name of the dwarf you've ordered!!

I got woken up this morning by the postman banging on the door - and he left the packages outside my son tripped over them when he went to the shop and said "what on earth are these?". I had no idea as I'd forgotten about them!

My daughter won't let Grumpy out of her site as he's her favourite

Just wondered, is this promotion still valid as I love mine so much I want some more!!

I think they said the secret was ordering one or two at a time...not ordering all seven!!!...was reading it this morning!!haha!!
I didn't bother with them although it was tempting as Jade has them already from the disney store, either in the sale or carboots!!!

I suspect it will only be accepted once though, as I'd imagine that they'll be checking the transaction references.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I would prefer all the dwarfes or none at all. It was going to be a christmas prezzie with the DVD and Snow White. Never mind it was worth a try ordering anyway.

I got this email even though they took my money 3 weeks ago!

Although if Im right I think by accpeting your payment they are entering into a legal contract to supply you the goods so they should have checked this before charging everyone

You're right, they have entered into a contract with you to supply the goods. The issue here is that you also have to conform to the terms of the contract, in this case the "terms of the offer" which do state that you may be required to provide proof of a qualifying purchase.

Legally, I'm afraid that they're perfectly within their rights to enforce the terms and conditions and request POP before sending the goods out to you.

It's a shame, as yet again I suspect this offer has been spoiled by a small number of greedy people who insist on buying 10 sets to resell on Ebay! If people had been content with just ordering a set (or even 2) each then It's much less likely to have alerted them that people were not actually buying from Argos first...
