So, I have four kids: 16, 14, 12, 8 my DH, me and my parents (60) We want to do something in Orlando that doesn't use a Disney park ticket day. Which of these are good and which are lame (or just not worth the price)? (oh and we're going to the kennedy space center the day before or after)

Fantasia Mini Golf
Other mini golf (Congo River, Pirate's Cove, Tiki Island)
Ripley's Believe it or not museum
Wonder works
Giant flea market of doom
Gator Land
Magic comedy dinner show
Which gifts shops on I drive are best?

Thanks.

I recommend the combo ticket for Wonderworks and the Comedy/Magic show. Very affordable and my boys, DH, myself and DFIL really enjoyed it. In fact, the boys had been at DisneyQuest that day and said they liked Wonderworks better! The comedy show had us all laughing. It's all you can eat pizza, popcorn, soda/beer/wine for just over $20 per person. Not fancy, but good enough and the boys loved the pizza.

I would recommend Daytona Beach. We drove over there for the day and went back the next day to go through the Daytona 500 Racetrack tour.

We didn't do the Ripley's but I checked out the prices and it was very expensive.

How old are your boys and where do you get the combo ticket? Would my parents (60) enjoy wonderworks? They like science museum type stuff. :wizard:

This should be the link to my original review http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1044555

We are going again this Feb after a day at Sea World. The boys were 10, 12 and 16 at the time. I bought tickets from Undercover Tourist - not sure if they still sell them or not. I think your parents would enjoy an hour or so at Wonderworks - have them lie on the bed of nails and take their picture!

Check the Wonderworks website for info on the combo ticket, then check to see if ticket brokers carry them, or if there are any discount coupons.Hope that helps.
