I actually read this article this morning...sitting in the lounge at the Grand Floridian. Now I'm home looking at the snow on the ground. That's just not right!!!
Anyway....I love the reference to the guy that was mad about his 110 minute wait for Splash Mountain. He had just finished waiting 45 minutes for some other ride. Is it just me or do people like this kill you. I know this was the point of the article (time managment and planning ahead) but how stupid do you have to be to spend a few thousand dollars on a vacation and not do any research. I'm sorry, but I've gone to WDW during the busiest weeks of the year and NEVER waited 110 minutes to go on anything. As a matter of fact, it's been very rare for my family to wait 15 minutes for any ride...even during Easter vacation. The Unofiicial guide as been my Disney saviour since my honeymoon trip in 1996. My family does everything we want to do and the crowds never have a negative affect on us. It really isn't that hard if you put a little effort into planning.

PS...don't even get me going on the people that still think you have to pay for fastpasses. Seriously, the resorts give you a pamphlet explaining fastpasses and put it on their TV stations (I know not everyone stays on site). It's in every guide book and explained in the park. One CM used a line that just made me laugh during this past trip (he was working Rock N rollercoaster and wanted us to fill in all available space). He said if the people in front of you don't move foward, push past them and as you do thank them for decreasing your waiting time and adding extra magic to your trip....LOL.
