Sorry if I don't reply to things specifically...sometimes I read and forget you guys aren't in my head and have no idea how much I enjoy this stuff or what I'm thinking as I read. (That's me every day. seriously.)

I wish I had a good video of him from him winning his last race. It was so cool to watch him get into it the way he was. We've been talking about this with him all season (since Feb) so I'm excited to see it happen

Another mama bragging bit here. Wilson got his GATE paperwork this week and last night he came and showed me a test that only 2 kids in the class got 100% on He is my little brainack kid. Paul told me that his teacher was telling him about the discussion they had on Biden. I wonder how many 3rd graders really have an understanding of what an election for president is, let alone what the platforms of the VPs are. I'm looking forward to Chad and Wilson having some interesting talks on our trip

I just posted that the DOW has gone up 700 points today, so people can take their money out from under their mattresses now. If I disappear, you know they got me for that one, too.

Our video is acting funky, it stops in the middle of taping etc...We need a new one, but not in the budget right now.

I step away from the board for a day and come back to see some of ya'll (not naming names) are getting into trouble with the mods - sheesh......

I am going to have to read the thread as it has peaked my interest. Aisling - you are one of the nicest and sincerest people I have ever known - I can't imagine why they would do that - stupid I tell you!!!!

Busy getting ready to fly out on Tuesday to visit Chas. The whole family is going (Shannon and the kids) so that will be a good trip. He kind of took a step backwards after the fall. They had to reopen the leg and found there was a small amount of infected tissue - which they had to remove. BUT it doesn't appear it got to the bone. So he is back on the IV's and liquid painkillers and every few day surgery washouts. But its still better than what he was only 5 weeks ago. It's only been 40 days since the incident and the kid has made great strides. I promise to get some pics while we are there. We will be there from Tuesday - Sunday next week so I will have limited access to the internet but will hope to check it nightly.

Speaking of next Tuesday - Shannon and I decided to do a 2010 11-night med trip and after contemplating it we are going to try and go through a TA this time (we did this trip ourselves and then eventually moved it over to DVC on points we had). I got a recommendation from Andrew_Derek_UK for someone at Dreams Unlimited - Kelsie Johnson. I contacted her Wednesday and then got her the final requirements yesterday but I haven't heard back from her yet. I just want to make sure we actually get booked on Tuesday so we 1) get the best price and 2) there will be space ~ but since we are flying out on Tuesday I'm at the mercy of the TA ~ hopefully it will do well...

I'm going to go relax (just got back from gym) and catch up on some tv from this week. Been dying to see the CSI since it was season premiere and had the big cliff hanger. I'll try and jump back on later on.

thanks Artie. I'm glad that Wilson will have Owen to hang with on our cruise too. They are really close in age aren't they? Willie's bday is Feb 2000
