Did anyone else read about the unruly teens and tweens on the EB magic?? OMG.. they had to quarranteen a child to their room, due to disruptive behavior. Good lord. Hopefully, those children are not on the NYE cruise.

We are going to visit w/our friend in Key West, and also do Hemmingway's house.. Love the kitties there, and hit the Key Lime Pie place!! YUM!!!

I also want to stroll around, see the things I might have missed on my last visit there in 2003..

Garden of Eden (224 Duval (305-296-4565; www.thebullandwhistle.com), above the Bull & Whistle, is Key West's clothing-optional bar. Yes, we mean naked. Venture to the garden at the very top of the building and hope there are people there worth looking at. A favorite activity is getting your body painted. Be aware photos are not allowed. The bar opens daily at 10 a.m., live music starts at 5 p.m. and D.J.'s take over late at night.

How'd I find it, well, uh, I was googling Adam and Eve, you know, to find a nice church in Key West, yeah that's it. Imagine my surprise!

No, no upgrade for me. I have enough trouble managing my regular cards, I don't need any business card complications, epecially since I don't own a business!


About the unruly kids, I didn't read about that yet. That must be rare, though, because I really only hear good things about the kids on the cruises. I wouldn't worry about it! I have to go find that trip report!

Hi All,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing well. I'm more at peace and have started getting back in touch with some of my old friends.

I wish that I was still going on the cruise, but I am going to be at Disney World from January 3rd to the 10th. Jeff and I had a promotional week (that can't be changed) at a timeshare in Orlando and he can't go, so I am. My Best Friend John is going with me and we will have a blast!

Refresh my memory, who's staying in Orlando after the cruise?

I know we're late to the party... but when I popped over to your thread and saw someone had been researching The Garden of Eden, I figured I'd better jump right in. After all, I've been looking for that religious Key West excursion too.

Kidding, it's a tad scary.

But my excitement is outweighing my trepidation at joining so late. We've actually had this cruise booked forever, but didn't know if we'd really be able to go until now. DH just got final vacation approval, so we'll be celebrating NYE on the Magic too!


This is us... I think I'll be the one with the balloon.

I hope it's OK to join in and try to catch up from here. It looks like you're a chatty bunch, so I don't think I can review the whole thread.

If you read back a couple of pages you will see we are truly a Disney group not the hedonism type that the last few posts may imply.

Yep, we defintely have the kid angle covered.
DH and I will be bringing four of them:

DD (20) university
DD (17) high school
DS (12) middle school
DD (10) elementary school

Is it OK if I mention that back to school is kicking my bootie this year?
I hope it gets better - I'm not sure it will.


This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. In fact I see a couple of folks on your list who were on a previous cruise with us. Only they're on the haven't heard from in awhile section. I hope they're still onboard.

This will be my 2nd DCL cruise. We did the Christmas cruise in 2005 and had the time of our lives. Myself, my husband Mel, sons Chad and Jesse, Chad's girlfriend Louise, and my nephew Cory will be on this cruise. See page 1 for our ages. We're from NY. And we LOVE this group of Disers we're sailing with. A bunch of great, decent, fun people!
I hope you jump right on in and post post post!

Nan, have fun at DL! Do I really need to tell you that? Have you thought of the Wilderness Lodge for Christmas? It's one of the lower priced deluxes, with a beautiful view, a beach, the boat to MK, the duckies and bunnies, and me!
