Could you please share with us, when you get your new passporter, details about only the new excursions? I am the type that likes to make fully informed decisions on vacation stuff.

we totally walked all over Key West & really loved it!!! i am really looking forward to seeing more of it AND more shopping...Claudia....just come with us!!!!! TRUST me ~ i'm a shopper!!!! Shop till ya drop????....haven't dropped yet~

There are 2 must-dos for me in KW. One is to get a photo at the southernmost point, what is it like 50 miles from Cuba. And go to Hemmingway's House to toast him a drink and see all the cats and smell the famous cat-pee, (thanks Kaz! ).

I have to check out what kinds of shops are there. I'm not into cheap tee shirts, but is jewelry a good bargin there?

Yes i need to go to that spot too...Ryan & I didn't last trip....i don't recall jewelry prices or deals (i shopped at Jimmy Buffett's place & a few other surf like shops - Ron Jons etc.) but i do recall that CG was "THE" place for tanzanite & Cozumel for silver.....

Aisling - that sounds really interesting, were you going to do in a group or as an individual? I am very interested, depending on the timing, and needing to check with the other members of my family as to what they may want to do if I do this.

Tig - can you PM me your email and I can scan the pages into my computer here at the office and then email them to you, or to anyone else that would like them. I will just do the pages on the Western ports.

I have some good news. My brother who's in the Air Force is coming with his family for a visit for two weeks starting June 1st. He's stationed in North Dakota (bringing back memories, Grim??), and will be going back to "the desert" soon, so they gave him a nice long vacation time before he leaves. Brenda, his wife is from Gilroy (Morgan Hill). I can't wait to see my 2 nieces and my baby nephew!!! The girls are so excited about going to the American Girl store here. For Christmas I bought them dolls and lots of accessories, and they'll be bringing their dolls for a "tea" at the store.

This is Valerie, who'll be 10 on June 16th. Her eye really doesn't look like that! The doggone camera did it!

This is Samantha, who'll be 7 on June 6th.

This is my dear SIL Kristin, and baby Joshua.

And this is my baby brother John with his baby boy.

Today is the last day of catechism class, so I'm having an ice cream party for my class. I was so lucky to have such a good group of 5th graders this year.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in NYC!

Robin, I'll email the woman and get some timing information. And I'm going to try to get a group together, I think the maximum is 6 people. I'm hoping for an afternoon time, so that the morning is free for something else. I was also looking into the Dolphin excursion to do in the morning. I'll post the response email here when I get a reply.

oh Aisling - how exciting to have your brother & his family come for a visit.....i'm really excited to see my sisters & my mom & the many nieces & nephews etc.
Lora (who went to NYC with me) & her husband will be coming to see me on Sunday...she is really the only one that i see along with my family when i'm home. I don't get to see my family very often - so i just spend all my time with them & Lora~ Of course i will see quite a few classmates etc at the alumni reunion Sat night.

Well Morgan Hill is about 8 miles from my house....

when i was at Valley fair last weekend - Macy's was having a GREAT sale....& all i thought of was I need Aisling here to help me pick out some dresses AND some shoes....but i ended up not even trying any on...still hoping to drop another 10 lbs~it is going SOOOOO slow!

OMG I was at Macy's last night, so many outfits I wanted to buy! I did buy two pairs of summer shoes, really cute espadrilles to give me some height! Yellow seems to be the cool color this spring/summer. Have you noticed that by you?

yes i have & yellow isn't too much my color....but i did buy a blue/white striped jacket from CABI that has just a hint of yellow stitching so i got a yellow cami for under it & for my reunion dinner i bought a VERY CUTE Michael Kors yellow/gold jacket & got a nude/white lace cami to wear with that one....

ahhh - got cha! THANKS!!!! so how is everything going? when do you get your 'grades' etc? i forgot...are you doing some summer classes? isn't it hard to believe you were here a whole year ago????? My DH & DS are (again) going up to Sequoia Natl Park like last year for the Mem Holiday wkend....Ryan asked me last night if i was going...."uh no...i'm going to iowa...WHERE have you been dear boy?????"

It's sunny out and a little chilly yet~

I have a band photo shoot tonight so I'll be out back, I'm seeing how well I can turn my back enclosed porch into a photo studio of sorts. I'm using the studio set up for the full band shot and their head shots. I'll then take them in the backyard and get some "outdoorsy" stuff for them to use as well. The band "The Filthy Micks" just added a female singer so now they need new photos for their press kit.

Oh yeah! I got my photographer's meeting notice from Musikfest! It's a huge festival that runs every year out in Bethlehem PA. I took a chance and asked about being a photographer for the event, sent them the links to my myspace and photobucket and got approved! This'll be my first official professional gig!!! (Can you tell I'm happy about it? )

Brenda, Brittany and I both can't believe it's already been a year~

COnsidering my being laid off, I'd say we timed that one perfectly...

I have no idea when grades come out, I know for sure that I passed everything. I am still working on getting into summer classes. I missed the unemployment registration day so now if I want to continue I hafta pay. If I don't pay for these classes my unemployment ran out this past saturday. If I am signed up for the classes, I get to continue to get paid by the state.

We have a party to go to sunday and will probably grill and hang home on monday. We never made it to the shore or the zoo last weekend...the rainy weather we had put a wrench in all our plans.
