NYE Ressie Made!

Just thought I'd report in a successful attempt! I started calling day-by-day last Thursday (took about 10 minutes of redial and 2 minutes of hold the first day, then got right through on the second day). Today I started off a few minutes before MS opened trying the 800 number. On previous days, I could get through right before open and wait for the second greeting to change, but today it was busy even before 9. So I figured I'd try the 407 number right at opening time - believe it or not I got right through!! I was getting worried when after the second '3' it rang about 12 times, but then finally somebody picked up. Booked my last two nights and I'm all set! DH and I will be at VWL in a one-bedroom from
12-29-03 to 1-2-04!

For everyone trying to book NYE, I'm not sure if it was a fluke or not, but you may want to try the 407 number instead of toll free if you can. Good luck and see you at WDW!

I decided to go ahead and book an OKW studio for the holidays. I called this morning at 9:00, did redial for 2 minutes, spent 3 minutes on hold and then booked 12/23-1/3 no problem. Getting through was much easier than I had anticipated. I also was "chosen" for the survey after the call.

Just finished booking the last days of our Holiday Vacation too! I'm glad to be done. I've been calling for almost 2 wks. Got exactly what I wanted so it was worth it!

Got our reservation completed this morning too. 1 bedroom WLV same days as WDWguru! Our 4th New Years trip in a row. See ya there!

We're going too! Called today at 8:58 est and listened to the menu options until 8:59- got through right away. Called the 407 #
12/28-1/2 at BCV. See you all there!

We also completed our NYE reservation this morning. I didn't know about the 407 number, can someone share it with me? I called the 1-800 number starting 2-3 minutes before 9:00 am and hit the redial for almost 20 minutes, then spent another 3 minutes on hold. I was able to pick up the last 3 days we needed! Yippie!

We're going to be in a coveted Grand Villa at OKW from 12/28-1/3! 6 days in luxury .

I finished our ressies this morning too, but I redialed continuously from 9:00 until 10:00. I was positive I'd be too late, but we got a studio Xmas day through Jan. 2nd checkout at our home resort. (BCV) I'm thinking of trying to change some of the days to WLV four months from now, but I'm not very optimistic.

I got through right at 9:00 A.M. using the 800 number. Like kem330, called at 8:58 and listened then hit 3, 3. Got right in. I still have a couple more days left to call but got the big one, New Year's Eve is taken care of.

I also put my new countdown calendar on for New Year's 2004. That really makes it official.

I also got through this morning on the second try! It rang a dozen or so times but once I got through I was able to add the last 3 nights!!!

I'm happy to report that I'll be spending 12/29 - 1/3 in a BWV Standard View Studio!!!!

I got my ressie too. I was a little worried this morning because even shortly before 9am, the line was already busy. Tried for 10 mintues to get through and then waited, felt like forever. I got my standard BWV rooms for my family reunion!!!

At the end of the day, I called again to check on something else, was told that for NYE, the only standard view rooms left are for 1-br, no studios or 2-br, just in case someone else wants to call tomorrow to get these.

I called at high noon and got thru in less than 5 minutes. We booked BCV 12/30-1/2, 1 BR. I am thinking about adding 1 more day. Can't wait!

Called about 9:40 (that's when I woke up) and had to redial a lot before getting anything but a busy signal, but when I got through I waited 4 minutes on hold and booked a BCV studio without any problems. 12/30-1/2, and I'll be booking a WDW resort with an AP discount from 1/2-1/5. I asked for my favorite studio so we'll see how the request thing goes.

I didn't get thru until around 2 pm. I had tried on and off all morning, but just busy signals. I can't wait! It will be our first holiday trip. We're hoping to get a good rate at one of the hotels from 12/25 - 12/28 and then OKW 1/28 - 2/2, 1 bedroom.

I think a "meet" sounds good too.

We got ours too. 1-B/R BWV's standard view. Now just need to wait a few more days and then add an OKW ressie for the following week. Then we'll be all set.
